Brother MFC-L3710CW Compact Digital Color All-in-One Printer Providing Laser Printer Quality Results with Wireless, Amazon Dash Replenishment Ready

Absolute workhorse. Have put this printer through the wringer and it continues to be faithful and reliable. Inks can be expensive but brother brand is not comparable to others in terms of reliablilty. Set up is easy and it becomes easier as it goes on.

This is my first color laser printer. The last couple of printers we owned were inkjet. After struggling to keep up with the constant replacement of ink, we decided the more expensive laser may be the way to go. So far, we are not sorry. My husband uses it for business in our home office. It prints pages nice, crisp, and very quickly. The document feeder allows for super quick scanning, of which we do every day. I use it to print the occasional picture, and always satisfied with the quality for the printer. For set up, the wireless set up wasn't an issue with my husband's window laptop or my iMac. The hardest part was figuring out how to set the print mode to mono to ensure we only use the black when printing. A quick call to tech support allowed us to easily set up the computer so we can now use only black ink when printing the majority of our documents. The option of "fine" and "normal" are also available depending on the quality. Fine using more ink and therefore something we avoid doing unless we want good quality pictures. My only complaint is that the printer does not print double-sided printing. It took me a few tries before discovering how to insert the page that's been printed on one side into the paper tray so it is printed on the back side in the correct orientation. We don't do a lot of double sided printing, maybe once a year, so I'm not worried about this feature.

Print jobs stack up with wireless print orders. Changing the ink can be scary because it is not just putting in a cartridge like my last couple of printers. Scanner is a little difficult to use. They sent a disc with the printer scanning program, but my computer, like many these days, does not have a disk drive. I had to use a work around and use other software to scan documents. I bought it because I was supposed to be able to scan multiple sheets at once. Can’t get their soft ware to work so that feature is not available to me. I am 74. If I was a little more computer savvy I might be able to use it better.

This printer is great. I am WFH due to the c@ronav!rus, and this printer lets me do everything at home, just like I do at my work office. I work for a large corporation and I am constantly printing stuff out to check database work, as well as scanning to email. It is a process to get it wirelessly connected, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to guide you through it. My IT person told me to print, I have to be off the VPN. I can: print/copy in BW and color, fax (if I had a home phone, which I don't), scan to email and you can choose different formats: PDF, JPG, searchable PDF, secure PDF, etc. With the scan function, you can put a stack of paper on there, and it automatically feeds all the paper, you don't have to sit there and open/close the top for each page, although you can do it that way if you prefer. Also, it has one paper tray, but you can load in different sizes of paper, one size at a time, and the printer gives you a prompt "do you wish to change the paper setting" each time. So, yay to printing both legal and letter size jobs. I don't do large jobs, and I can't say how this printer holds up with giant printing jobs, but for the price tag, it's a great deal.

The printer is a very good value. I did several cost per page before buying this printer. Setup was very easy. Take your time a read the instruction steps. I have ran through several of the features and have found no issues at all. The quality of the printer and the output is near perfect. It is constructed very well. It is rather heavy so if you need help putting it where you want it I would consider getting a extra set of hands on call for that. I did not use the software that shipped with the printer. I did download the latest drivers and APP from the Brother Support site. I have been able to scan to each computer and pull or better said scan from the computer directing the printer. I have printed from the iMac, MacBook and the iPhone with no problem. So far I have no complaints. Very value for the money, appears to a high quality printer.

This printer is infuriating. When I first got it, I got it to join the wifi network easily enough, and then it detected that it needed new firmware. So I hit "yes" to update the firmware and it gave me a message to NOT turn off the machine while the firmware is updating, but then it just said "receiving data" for days. I thought surely no firmware update should take days so it must be frozen. I turn it off and started the process over again. Same result. It just would not get the new firmware without freezing. So I decide to use it without getting the new firmware update. It works ok. Some devices can print to it and some can't no matter what you do. But then a year later the thing just stops printing via wifi. I do a factory reset and re-do all the settings but it just won't work. It freezes on the receiving data screen every single time. And the only way off that screen is to cancel the job and then it freezes on the "job cancelling" screen. With the wifi completely broken I thougt at least I can print from one computer if I connect via USB, but nope. Still freezes on the receiving data screen. Just pure garbage. I've spent so many hours trying to get this thing to work. And it wasn't cheap either. I would expect better for what this thing cost.

We researched color laser printers until we were blue in the face and finally decided on the Brother MFC-L3710CW and I think we made the right choice. This is a great printer. It’s bigger than we wanted but the print quality, even of color pictures, is great. It’s fast, it’s quiet and it’s nice that it’s always on...it sleeps when you’re not using it. We’ve printed from two computers as well as the iPad and it does great. Love it. We may not like the price of purchasing the ink cartridges but we don’t expect to have to do that very often. We don’t print much so it’s nice that the ink won’t dry up like it used to in our inkjet printer.

PERFECT!!! Won't be going back to Canon or HP home printers ever again. Worth every penny with all the functions this baby has. Bigger than I realized, still compact for a laser scanner and printer. Lift up scanner and feed thru scanner. Connects to wifi, wireless printing from my tablet, phone, and laptop... Literally no issues. Setting up was SLOW though, be sure to have a couple hours. Follow directions and be patient with the software. I like their app!! You get everything in one, color & black toners included. Easily could be double in price if it was an HP. Very impressed. Prints QUIET. Love it. (Personal opinion: It works quickest on Comcast wifi, Century Link is so slow and in turn, sends the printer data at snail speeds. I have both services so I know first-hand. I switched my printer over to my Comcast connection and it's been seamless.)

This is a solid machine, ideal for a home office or a small business. Printing is fast and clear, including colour printing. The price (at the time we bought it) was reasonable and supplies are easily available and not exorbitant. The only negative was that the printer could not be powered off (reset) from the control panel, and had to be physically unplugged from the wall. The was fixed later on by a firmware update, so now it can be reset without unplugging. Setup is easy, as is changing the ink cartridges, although you do need to look very closely at the rather small drawings to figure it out. A good purchase so far.

A buen precio, de buen material, fácil de configurar. Si tarda unos segundos en imprimir por ejemplo. Pero pues no es para negocio verdad, no pasa nada por esperar unos 3 segundos. Los insumos duran mucho y la calidad de impresión es excelente. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Got it last night. Set it up today. Super easy to set up. Hardest part was getting it out of the box myself. Took a strong squat but was able to do it. Set it up while breastfeeding my newborn. So if anyone says set up is hard they have other problems they should have looked at. Print quality looks good. I set it up to my MacBook Pro using the online driver (not the CD) Have printed from my laptop and my iPhone. All working great. Will update if star rating changes as I use the other aspects of the printer.

A pesar que el precio es muy accesible, la calidad del equipo es muy aceptable, me sorprendió primero lo rápido que llego, segundo que a pesar del precio es muy fácil de operar y configurar comparada con otras marcas, debo aclarar que aún no tengo bastante tiempo usando el equipo pero me ha dejado una grata impresión, espero que sea durable, hace poco compré un equipo Xerox y solo me duro el año que es cubierto por la garantía, la reparación excedía el costo del equipo.

Excelente artículo. Impresiones a color y blanco y negro. Practica para utilizarla, la instalación súper rápida y fácil. Lo único que no permite es imprimir en hojas tipo fotografía, solo las pasa y no imprime nada.
