Natural Dog Company Snout Soother Dog Nose Balm – 2 oz Tin

Wow just wow! Works sooo well. My dog has a brand new nose. It has been 6 days using this about twice a day and boom no more crusty nosey.

I was dubious. My frenchie has had hyper keratosis on his nose for years and nothing has worked to get rid of it. Based on reviews i decided to give this a shot and IT WORKED! Not only did it work but it got rid of most of the keratosis in about 3 days. I wish I had taken before and after photos to share with this review but I didn’t. This product is 100% worth it.

Absolutely helped with my dog’s nose dryness!

Two years in a row, my German Shepherd developed a raw, painful looking crack in his nose nostril in early winter that nothing could cure until both years it healed spontaneously in late winter/early spring. He has environmental allergies that are at their worst in winter, and his vet believes the cracked nose is about that, and sure enough, the crack developed and healed seasonally. I'd tried all kinds of stuff: vet prescribed cortisones, liquid Vitamin E, waxy Paw Guard (natural ingredients and great on his paw pads), but nothing worked. And I bought this in the middle of last winter. This also did not heal the already established crack (though maybe soothed it a bit), however this fall, seeing the crack begin to develop again, I started applying this twice daily, and so far, it's keeping the crack at bay. I'll try to remember to update here later to report whether it was able to ward off the winter nose cracking, but so far, it really seems to be helping. For the record, I thought this stuff was ridiculously over-priced, but it really is great and lasts forever -- it doesn't take much to treat a dog's nose. Totally worth the price. To keep my dog from instantly licking the stuff off of his nose (evidently it is also delicious), I have his favorite ball handy when putting this on, and then immediately engage him with the toy. Once there's a ball/tug/toy in his mouth and I'm playing with him, he forgets all about the stuff on his nose. UPDATE: so, no, this did not work to keep my dog's nose from cracking with his allergies. Though his nose was soft and conditioned, the seasonal crack still developed. What did help heal it quicker this year was a combo from the vet allergist: Apoquel and a steroid gel applied directly to the nose. Also, this stuff does not last forever -- after a year, we have a lot left, but it's smelling on the rancid side, which is reasonable for an all-natural product; just heads-up: try to use it up within a year.

This ointment works great!! My dog had a white crust on her nose for years. Her nose was so sore and crusty. I tried many things including vet ointments and nothing worked. But this got rid of it after using it for a month and she has a smooth black nose again. I am so grateful. She likes it when I put it on her and reminds me if I forget.

I REALLY wish I had before pictures! I bought this balm out of complete desperation… as I had used organic Coconut Oil and while it did help a little I would say it was almost unnoticeable. My dogs name is Penny and she’s a mix of Papillon and I think Healer. Poor girl has allergies through the year but the worst is when it’s warm to hot outside as I don’t know what that does but it dries a cracks her nose. This year was the worst as it cracked her nose of how dry her little snout was!!! And where my desperation begins! So I went off on an Amazon search and kept coming across this very product and said why not! Great reviews of pictures other doggies (I felt our Penny was worse than others) but thought even just a little help will be great until I can get her to the vet! So I bought it!! Got it quickly and loved the tin. But was anxious to try it on Penny! So showed my son how to put a bit on and how to keep her attention on a treat to give it a small soak time on her nose. 7 days later of application (once a day) and it’s ALMOST THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN HER NOSE IN THE BEST CONDITIONS let alone this is the worst part of this season! I really wish I had a picture of her nose before… I would post it in a heartbeat! Penny stole didn’t change, when she see the tin she doesn’t hide and sits patiently for the application and knows several treats on the way. After wards she forgets about the balm and goes on with her regular day. Initial application feels rough as that’s the nose. It darkened the nose and looked a little bit more moist. About 2/3 days later her nose was looking better and a bit softer. About 5 days later you can see and feel and absolute difference!!!! Today 7 days later her nose is beautiful and soft without any balm!! I’m sure you can tell which picture has the balm on her nose. I plan to make it an everyday thing for her and just know her nose will be ok. Thank you to the manufacture for a beautiful tin but most importantly, making a product that works. I’m sure each dog and nose with symptoms are different, but be patient and regular! For Penny it worked and with time I know it will work for your dog too!

It appears to moisturize well, but my dachshund keeps licking it off. That is no fault of the manufacturer, but its still frustrating.

I was a bit reluctant to buy this as I thought it was rather expensive. However, within 48 hours my bulldogs nose has gone from being very dry and crusty to a very moist and smooth one. I highly recommend this balm, it works wonders!

Ho scelto questa crema perché è totalmente naturale e visto che va messa sul naso, non volevo che potesse leccarsi roba chimica. Nel giro di 3 giorni il tartufo della mia Bulla Inglese è tornato idratato e morbidissimo!!! Ho provato a mettergliela anche su una zona della schiena, dove a causa di una ferita, le si era fatta ormai da mesi una cicatrice e non ricresceva più nessun pelo. Ho provato a mettergliela anche lì, tanto mi son detta è naturale e male che sarebbe andata, non sarebbe successo nulla, ma il pelo dopo 5 mesi che non cresceva più, le è rispuntato di nuovo!!!! Sono felicissima!!!!

Leider kam mein Produkt nicht an :( Was allerdings scheinbar am Lieferanten lag , oder jemand hat es aus meinem Briefkasten geklaut. Eine Freundin hat Das produkt allerdings auch bestellt und da es wirklich sehr ergiebig ist hat sie es quasi mit mir " geteilt " zum testen. Ich bin schwer begeistert!!!Wir nutzen es erst seit 4 Tagen und man sieht schon deutlich eine Verbesserung. Bei meinem kleinen sieht die Nase schon seit ewigkeiten so schlimm aus und nichts hat geholfen :( Ich werde es definitiv erneut bestellen ( und hoffen es kommt diesmal auch an ) ...ich kann es absolut weiterempfehlen auch wenn es etwas teuer ist . Für mein Baby ist mir nichts zu teuer, vorallem wenn es keine leeren Versprechungen sind und wirklich hilft! Absolute klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

Mi bulldog tenía unas crostras en la nariz que no se le iban. Con esto se le han ablandado y caído a cachos. Le ha quedado la trufilla bien. Recomendable y dura mucho, porque con nada de frotar el dedo ya vale para una aplicación. Buen producto!
