No Thanks For This Dinnerware
This dinnerware set is colorful and pretty. Information is definitely missing for buyers and consumers. After purchasing the dinnerware we received instructions warning us the bottoms of each item would cause scratches and would require sanding. We have beautiful tables and do not want to risk any scratches on those or any other items. We are seniors and do not plan on sanding these dinnerware sets. This should be disclosed to protect and avoid misleading customers. In addition, instructions (received after the shipment) indicated we should never submerge any of these dishes in water as they would absorb moisture through the "foot" which would destroy the heating capabilities (microwave use, etc.) of the dinnerware. The instructions clearly state this would cause crazing and cracking of the dinnerware. All of this should be made clear to potential buyers as this is misleading, expensive, inconvenient and could be dangerous. We do not care to have this product in our home. Unfortunately, Pfaltzgraff requests that we pay return shipping which seems unreasonable in view of the missing information. It has never been necessary to sand any of our dishes and we have had numerous sets.

Good quality and heavy
Good quality and heavy. My girlfriend says she thought the buy now button would just put it in her basket (oops). I told her I'm not buying it... but we did. I don't know what other $90+ dollar dishes are like beacuse we usually buy off the dollar shelf at Wal Mart when it comes to dishes & silver (soon to be greenish) ware. But these are very nice indeed. If I had an extra $90 dollars and I needed some sweet dishes I'd probably still buy some wal mart junk and use the other $80 on a video game. But that's me. Plus my kids chipped one, granted it fell to the floor and only chipped a bit, but when they would chip (or bend depending on the brand) a wal mart dish I'd just toss it. Not these babies, no sir so now when we use these dishes the adults have to wash them. So that cost the maker 1 star.
