Not “White,” But Very Nice Lamps
These are very good looking nicely weighted, sturdy lamps. The “vintage” finish on the bases is well done, and the fringe around the top of each shade is different, but subtle. The lamps were packaged securely, arrived in perfect condition, and were very easy to assemble (the socket to the base, the harp to the socket, the shade to the harp). The cords are clear - which I love - and long enough to reach the outlet centered between the two tables on which I put the lamps. The only reason I didn’t give this set of lamps five stars is because they’re not white, as the description states: the bases are a pretty CREAMY white, and the shades are also off-white (and kind of ... burlap-y?) and look tan when when turned on. Seeing as how I can’t find affordable white lamps to save my life, and this set of two is really nice, I’ll be keeping these.Edit: Now the description reads “Antique White,” which is accurate.

Cheap and the shades are brown burlap not white.
Ughh. The shades are brown burlap and cheap. Also the “distressing” looks like someone took a sharp edge and just whacked on the base about 20 times. The description says the shades are white which is completely incorrect.
