I tried many brands’ organic black lentils, this is the best in texture and flavor after cooking. They all look the same before you cook them, but the difference of quality only becomes obvious after cooking. The downside of this brand is its premium price, way expensive than others. I settled down on Whole Foods’ store brand black lentils, they are not the best but decent enough for salad and other dishes!

This is the first time I have bought any black lentils other than Whole Foods 365 and I was nervous because this bag is a lot bigger and what if I didn't like them? BUT I can hardly ever get the black lentils in the Whole Foods Market near me because that spot on the shelf is bare! Anyway, I am very happy with these, they are delicious and I don't think it will take that long for me to use this larger amount.

Wow, who knew these were so great. Unlike flat lentils (these are round) they don’t get soft and soggy easily. I cooked them to add to something but then....ate them all right there, alone. So good. High protein. I noticed combining them with brown rice, all these paper cuts on my hands suddenly healed up...must be the B vitamins in the brown rice I think....but eating better with good food really does heal the body.

These lentils came super clean. No debris. Incredible flavor and texture that brought me back to my grandmothers house as a child where lentil-based meals were common place. We should all be supporting small, organic farms like this. Shipping time was exactly as promised.

Easy to prepare. I can not find lentils near any supermarket in my area. Easy to store and because it is not in a can, no added preservatives or salt.

I cooked these lentils the other day and they are so delicious and flavorful!!😊 They came in a huge bag and the bag was well protected in the box. This is 5lbs so great value for the money too. I love these and appreciate that I could find a provider with a larger package at a good price. And they are so yummy!!!🥰

Just as described. What else can we say? They go into lentil soup, they stay firm and not mushy, and they taste great - just like lentils!

I have bought quite a few different grains and beans from this farm and have always been very happy with what I receive. These are great little lentils and help add variety to our plant based diet. Very happy with them.
