Great to wear at the office, was a hit! Will be able to save for next year. Only bad thing is that it came all wrinkled, so I had to hang up for a while so try and get the wrinkles out before wearing. Also this is good for a tall person. I am 5'7" female and there was plenty of room to be a tall male. Would look best on a taller person. The crotch was low on me and sort of harder to walk in. Prob best on a 6' or taller person, but not for a child. Would recommend for sure! Was able to put on outside of work and it aired up very fast (within 1 min) and holds the air very well. You have to wear you own shoes under as the feet are foam flaps that lay over your shoes. Pants have elastic around ankle so the air does not escape. Great idea. Most people could not even tell it was held up by a string around my waist. Very easy to put on and off. Great for a quick and easy costume. Just hang up on a pants clamp hanger and use year to year!

The costume fit me well. In context, I'm 6 ft tall and 180 lbs.The noise of the fan contains a fan on the rear in order to maintain the puffy shape of the ostrich, which can be kind of annoying to listen to, but the adoration of my friends made it worth it.I didn't expect this costume to put so much strain on my legs, but it did. My legs ached the day after I wore this costume. To be fair, I hopped up and down in a Monty Python-like fashion in order to accentuate the ostrich-riding facade.Oh, the manner to which the ostrich head pops up makes the head look like a penis. The head also has a little valley at the top of it that doesn't help the characterization.All in all, it's an adequate costume, but I should have bought the red Power Ranger suit instead.

If you want to do something different, this is it. The "Issues" you might encounter are: 1) battery time - about 4 solid hours. Carry spare batteries if your party is longer. But I think this time is reasonable given the amount of air the fan must push to keep the costumes inflated. 2) sitting on a chair or couch is difficult for obvious reasons, expect to stand most of the night, but that's what you get with a costume like this 3) the hats are small, but I didn't use them. I recommend pairing with different hats.Even the above "issues", I hardly rate them as such as they are easy to work around and didn't ruin the experience. I bought two of these costumes and my wife and I used them to make "Joust" (Atari) themed costumes for a party and it was a great time. I was happy with the overall performance of these costumes.

I liked it until the fan popped out of its spot, for the life of me I could not put it back, but I think I had lost the rubber band that was holding it. But I lost it when the fan popped out buy itself, so not my fault. And I'm 6ft 1" I didn't think the ostrich would be a bit small. And it's definitely not something to walk around in outside. I tore up the bottom of the costume, but surprisingly the fan did it's job while I was holding it in place. Oh yea I held the fan in position the entire night wasn't so fun.

Very fun, but slips down a lot. The draw string cord is a slick nylon so it doesn't stay securely sinched I ended up putting the reins over my head to hold the costume up.the fan is a little loud and a little heavy, which makes the back end deflate a bit.Would still recommend.

Hilarious costume but the hat was not really wearable.I enjoyed galloping around and it was comical to arrive at a house party riding an ostrich.It is a bit bulky but you can still sit down in it and it re inflates when you stand back up.Four stars because the hat was not usable.

Was great for the price and I got lots of compliments on it. The battery compartment ended up rusting over the course of a year by itself despite being left inside container though so I had to throw the costume away. Got lots of laugh for the price but didn't get to use it the next year.

While this item was delivered on time there were two primary issues. 1. The manufacturer left a gaping whole in the seam where they just stopped sewing...this, of course, let a lot of the air out to where the ostrich would not stay blown up. We had to get a neighbor with a sewing machine to complete the job that the manufacturer should have completed. 2. The fan is located at the top of the tail, causing the tail to weigh down (why not have it at the bottom?) but the issue is that it is not powerful enough to keep the ostrich blown up. We were able to use it, however we would not have been able to use it the way it came to us.
