The product came in one of those Amazon bags where you know it was a repack. My heart sank because I knew immediately that it was a used backpack. There were no tags on it. If it’s a new product, there should be tags. The only reason I’m not returning it is because I wouldn’t get a new one in time for our anniversary and it does appear that the bag is still in very good condition and I couldn’t see any obvious wear. I’m just so angry to spend that much money and not get a new product. But overall, I really like this backpack because it has the hydration slot, great slippers with the sturdy loops, easy to close the top and open it, not a super heavy bag, easy to carry, looks nice, and even if you have your hydration pouch in it, it still holds a lot of stuff. (We frequently bring lunch, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, map, and binoculars. They all fit in the various compartments.)
