L'Oreal Paris One Step Toning Hair Shine for Home Use Increase Shine, Enhance Color, Conditioning, Brass Neutralization, No Damage

I decided to go a bit lighter with my hair this time. I was blond until my 30's, then my hair started going dark. I didn't realize that the new dye I chose had peroxide in it! Oh my. I was bleached right to the roots and glowing orange. It was hideous. The pictures in my review are after the second application, but it worked miracles even after the first! I applied the day after I dyed my hair, and only did 10 min. This time I did 15. I'm in love with the colour! It's pretty close to how my hair was when I used to lighten it. I can't believe the difference it made. My roots aren't bleached looking now. I washed and conditioned my hair first, and then used my usual products after rinsing the toner out.

I had my hair done 2 weeks ago at a salon but the toner had faded already. I was looking to see if I could find more of a toner like product instead of purple shampoo and stumbled across this. After reading the great reviews, I thought why not try it and I’m so glad I did! It smells nice, not like purple shampoo that always has a chemically smell and it toned just right! The bottle says enough for 3 washes but I only used a tiny amount as I have thin hair so I think it will last longer. I used it in the shower after shampooing with my normal stuff and left it in for maybe 5 minutes before rinsing. Would highly recommend! Right picture is before, left picture is after

I really love how this makes my hair look and feel, but it only lasts like a day.. not even washing it out. I’ll wake up the next morning and it looks orange again. I leave on 15 minutes after working it through all of my hair and combing it.

Definitely toned the brassy parts of my hair, however it did leave the really light parts tinted purple. I left it on for the full 15 min because the brassiness was bad, next time I'll leave it on for less time hoping it won't leave any hairs purple.

This is exactly what my hair needed! My hair was yellowy and dry looking from chemicals and with one- step, the yellow was gone and my hair looks and feels healthier than before.
