My son loves it! He understands it well and uses it a lot! Perfect way to get him in his word. He has ADHD and this helps with keeping his attention!

Tyndale makes the best Bibles; this is super easy for children to understand

I have been teaching Elementary kids in a mid-week bible study for 5 years now. We tried several other "kid" friendly bibles and curriculum but it was very ho-hum until I found the Hands on Bible. We use these bibles along with Group's Hand on Bible Max curriculum and the kids LOVE it.Although our kids have access and usually own a number of bibles, this is the bible they like to use hands down. Some of our families who had to stop coming to the mid-week program due to scheduling conflicts have reported to us that it is easy to continue a bible study with their kids using this bible and their kids are loving being able to learn at home!This is a bible that gets kids excited about reading the bible and doing activities to further their understanding of Christ and their Christian faith. YAHOO!

If you have a child between 6-12, this is THE Bible to get. The new living translation really brings the Bible to life and is written simply. Learning about Jesus shouldn't be complicated but simple to understand! It also shows the kids how to apply the Bible in their lives. I love the KJV but have found it a hard read at times, not so with this. It also has a daily reading list for kids along with a question to answer to get them thinking. In addition, it has a family devotion section which is great for the family to get involved!There are fun facts, a time line, and object lessons to help them relate that hey can do easily at home. It's packed with fun so that kids can learn in a fun involved way!

Fun activities to really get a picture of Gods word and explain it using tangeable projects to do with child. Colorful Bible to break up the text so that the book won’t be so intimidating to my six year old son. He loves the book, the print is about 12 -14 font and so my son has to use one of those highlighter bookmarks to keep his place when reading.

This is the perfect bible for kids who want to read on their own. My 9 year old newphew loves this bible because it has all kids of experiments and things to do. He loves science, so this was an easy pick on my part. The NLT is on a 6th grade reading level which is great because at 9, he can sort of grow with it until he wants to move onto something more challenging.We learn more when we interact with the subject matter, so this bible has my vote for helping my nephew to discover his own faith - and not the faith of his family. God calls us all to discover him for ourselves and I love that this Bible facilitates that process.

Great bible for kids. Illustration and side commentary is insightful and entertaining

I'm aged 32 (but young at heart) and I found myself immediately drawn to the Hands on Bible, instead of the more traditional versions of the Bible.It is well written, well researched and provides frequent illustrations; activities and thought-provoking exercises. All of which encourage and enable the reader to learn in a multi-sensory manner. Overall I would highly recommend this to both young and older readers alike.

Wife's been using this as the bible give away for her kids programs for years, and it hasn't gone wrong.Simple and straightforward, but still 100% bible.

Excellent bible for 7 to 11 year olds approx. Lots of ideas of things to do, which kept the kids focused.
