Nice book, very compact
The book is laminated and very compact to make it easy to take along. I am new to cycling and wanted a road guide to bring in my paniers. Did the job, and I am very happy. It seems to be pretty complete, althought I haven't used it yet -- hopefully I won't need to for a while.

Small but mighty.
This little book is great. I was surprised at just how small it was but i guess it is a 'pocket' guide. It may be a little out-dated and lacking in detail for some bicycle users, but it has all the basic repairs for tires, chain and derailleur (gears) that a novice would need. It gives a basic list of tools to carry with you although people can add or take away from that list according to personal preference.It has a pre-ride checklist which is useful and also tells you to go to a bike shop to get it repaired if the problems are too great for you to fix on the road or at home - (more experienced/mechanicaly minded people might find that advice a bit of a cheat but for the people who'd rather leave it to the professionals it's fine). All in all it is a very robust little booklet which is waterproof thanks to the laminated pages and the spiral binding makes it easy to flick through the pages. The illustrations are useful along with the step by step instructions so if you are a keen cyclist but aren't too hot on the basic repairs (and would rather leave the bigger fix jobs to the bike shop) then this is the product for you. I will definitely carry it with me from now on while cycling.
