As far as I know, dietary overdoses of supplemental Vitamin A in pregnancy are dangerous but I can't imagine topical useage would be. (Beta-carotene or natural dietary vitamin A are safe over the recommended daily dosage, but retinols are not. So be careful which prenatal you are taking, what sources of Vit A are used and if you're drinking things like Body Armor or nutrition shakes daily.)
