I ended up buying this pot twice.It's a funny story but in a pinch when this was brand new, I had to use it as a hard wax melter as mine was on the fritz. This worked out perfect! It melted the wax quick and was very easy to clean! I'm still using it as a wax melter because it is so effective, but I had to get the second pot for it's intended purpose- my Ramen loving daughter.Both pots arrived quick, packaged well in a nice box with decent directions. The only 'assembly' is plugging in the cord. It is very simple to use too- just set the dial.I'm so impressed with how quick this heats up! It gets hot- quick! It will boil water in under 7 minutes. It really can cook a lot more than Ramen too! The size is excellent and can accommodate a more than healthy portion for one person. This is great for camping (as long as you have a power source) and excellent for dorm rooms too.I really love this pot and so does my daughter. She's not too good with the stove yet, so this is great for when she wants something quick and easy enough to make on her own.This is WELL worth the price! An excellent multipurpose pot that is easy to use and clean!

We got this for my daughter who is in university, this is exactly the right size for a single person who is tight on space. Boiling eggs, cooking ramen, and soups. Works great, easy to clean, she loves it.
