Fantastic pin pointer. Had no issues and does what it’s supposed to do. This is a high quality pin pointer. Far from junk and its performance is on par with higher priced units. I purchased to locate set screws that I lost in the dirt for my solar panel array and found them in 5 minutes. A new addition to my tool box now.

The pinpointer works as expected. Very accurate and saves time locating objects. I bought this because it was rechargeable and glad I did. The detector holder mount has its pros and cons. I have enough on my belt so having the pinpointer on the metal detector is handy. The holder holds the pinpointer firmly so it’s not going to fall out. That’s both good and bad. It’s great when transporting you always know that it’s with the detector. But while detecting it’s hard to pull it out and you have to push hard to put it back. So it’s not going to fall out and get lost. This is not a game breaker I just carry it in my hand while detecting so I’m ready to pinpoint a target. I highly recommend this and it doesn’t break the bank when starting out metal detecting.
