I've tried other onion soup mixes and this one is just the best for flavor and versatility. Add this to some sour cream and use it as a classic onion soup dip! I love it with ridged chips because they don't break when dipping. I also use this to make the absolutely best pot roast! You can't go wrong with this classic mix as it is so easy to use. Each box usually comes with some recipes and they turn out great! I try other brands and they are OK, but this one has the most flavor for sure! ~The Rebecca Review P.S. Lately I've been using one packet mixed into 1 1/2 pounds of ground lean beef plus 1/3 cup panko and 1 egg. I mix it all up while wearing those disposable gloves. Then I put it in a loaf pan and bake it for 1 1/2 hours. Putting bacon on top of the meatloaf is an option and then I also spread on Heinz chili sauce mixed with a little mustard powder and about 2 teaspoons of muscovado sugar. Delicious!

I love this product. It is no longer available in Ontario so Amazon.ca makes it easy to keep getting this product!

If you use this soup mix more than a couple times a month, then you’ll want to start buying it bundled like this. I buy the original l, as well as the beefy onion in these multipacks, and I save myself a ton of money every month. I use these soup packets at least twice a week! They work for so many things!!! Cooking a roast in the slow cooker? Add a pack (or even 2 if it’s a larger roast) for great flavor! Do you miss hamburger helpers oriental rice that is no longer available? Fret not!!! You can make the exact thing (except better) using a packet of this soup mix! Want to make the tastiest jojos ever? Sprinkle this mix on your potato wedges and be prepared to be wowed! Also, the recipes included on the box (and the additional recipes on the website) are all worth your time. Easy delish sides and main courses. For me and the rest of my family, having this Lipton Onion soup mix in the cabinet is a MUST. I am so happy that I can buy it like this and save a ton of money in the process.
