Classic Canvas Lunch Bag, 10L Insulated & Shoulder Strap for Adults

I gave this five stars because it is so well made and HUGE. Very VERY sturdy. We’ve used this bag nearly every day for months, and inside and out, this still looks like new. The buckle closure straps have held up very well, no fraying or tearing. The shoulder strap looks like new. Aesthetically, this is a nice looking bag to carry (my husband likes its looks). Really like the thermal lining, easy to clean. Also, there’s lots of room inside. Easily can hold generous lunch for two. Room left over when it is just used for my husband’s lunch: Every day we use this to hold a stainless bento box (sandwich), a stainless steel cylinder (yogurt with fruit), a large orange, two stainless holders with fresh fruit and sliced carrots, small wax bag of cookies, AND A COFFEE THERMOS! And there’s room for more!!!! -and food has stayed cool while coffee has stayed hot. BUT (yes there’s a but): The bag opening wants to roll itself closed all the time, will not stay open. That makes it hard to load and hard to pull things out of. In other words, loading and unloading the bag takes two hands. That can be more annoying/inconvenient than it may seem at first. So if you don’t mind a bag that wants to shut itself all the time, the positives of this bag make it a winner. We like minimizing trash since it’s better for the environment, and this bag eliminates paper bags and looks nice, holds EVERYTHING easily, super sturdy, keeps cold food cold, lots of things to love. I saw this lunch bag after looking at many that were basically all the same boxy style. As soon as I saw this one I had to have it. It is just the right size for a sandwich container, small thermos, small bottle of water, and some fruit and snacks. Additionally, while it is still cold and wet, I can throw in a hat and gloves. Definitely waterproof in rainy weather. I purchased the brown bag and it has kind of a distressed look that makes it look great in casual or business wear. The bag is insulated at the bottom and keeps containers cool enough in the office. The style is unique and well done. I was concerned a bit about how stiff the leather handle and belt would be, but they are soft as butter. Someone knew what they were doing with the placement of the shoulder strap and handle. It is perfect over the shoulder and well balanced with the handle. Looks like a hundred dollar bag for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Very sturdy bag and it works well. The only thing that would improve it would be a side pocket to hold a water bottle.

I was really drawn to the look of this bag, and in person, the aesthetic does not disappoint. It has a great rugged, classic style. However, after putting it to use, I found some clear pros and cons. The Good Heavy-Duty Exterior: The main canvas material is thick and feels durable. I'd easily rate the overall canvas quality a solid 4 out of 5. Hardware & Utility: The brass-toned hardware and clips feel sturdy, and it works great as a general everyday bag for dry items or standard containers. The Room for Improvement Moisture & Leakage: Unfortunately, the bag struggles with moisture. Even when using standard ice packs, the bag ended up wet. It seems to sweat or leak easily, so I absolutely would not recommend putting loose ice in it, and you'll want to be careful with cold items causing condensation. The "Leather" Trim: While the canvas is top-notch, the leather straps and accents definitely have a plasticky, synthetic feel to them. It looks good from afar, but feels a bit cheap up close. Final Verdict As a stylish, thick canvas bag for dry lunch items or daily gear, it looks fantastic. But if you need something truly leakproof or sweat-proof for cold drinks and ice packs, you might want to look elsewhere.

Before I review this purchase I believe it is only fair to state my credentials and reveal that I am a professional lunch bringer, with a track record of over 99% of lunches brought directly from home. Now that we got this out of the way, I will do my best to write a constructive review for this item and hope it help you with your decision. First of all: Shipping. I was super impressed of how fast this item arrived - so much so that when I got my package 2 business days after ordering I was questioning weather or not I bought something else in the past that never made it to my door. First impression: The items in the box is such a nice way to receive an item! I bought it for myself and opening it still felt like I was getting a gift. Loved it! The look: Also great! The bag looks and feels better than the pictures. I got mine in brown and it looks just like a cooler version of the brown paper bag. Both my office mates complimented me on it. While the fabric is waxed for waterproofing purposes, the wax coat is not heavy and the cotton retains some of its softness and its pliability - yet will hold its shape when you fold the top. The cutlery bag and the napkin, while made from the same fabric, are not waxed and are gentle to the touch. The size: Super! People usually use different types of containers to store their lunch - the long-shallow containers or the short, taller containers or sometimes a mix with containers that stack onto one another - in which you can store desserts separate from salads and main meals for example. I have the long, flatter version and it fits marvelously into the bag with plenty of space above and not a lot of room for it to jiggle sideways - which I appreciate. You should have absolutely not problem with a similar, taller container and absolutely no issue with one of those square base taller containers - as there is plenty of space in the bag. I add my fruit and cutlery and still have plenty left. Also, I carry mine with the top folded in my (medium size) backpack and it still leaves room for a wallet, small umbrella, a scarf, a couple of grocery bags, a decent size book and a bunch of random other small stuff like pens or mini toiletries. Quality: I like it! You can tell that care was put into this product. Even the cutlery bag is well made and slides nicely when you close it. For all items, there are no loose seams and no funky smells - although I personally like washing everything I buy that is intended for eating purposes. A word of caution: since the bag is waxed it will protect its content from spilling - however don't expect miracles. I tested mine (unintentionally) in some of the worst conditions: carrying a very juicy vegetable mixture, using a container which I either did not close properly or which was a <bad> container - which was also placed sideways in my backpack - which travels for about an hour and constantly shift position depending on whether or not I find a place in the bus or metro or am walking uphill towards work. As expected some of that juice did spill - I found most of it in a puddle at the bottom on the bag, however around 5% of it did make it through the cotton. This will clearly not be a problem if you drive to work and your containers spend the ride relaxing flat on the backseat, however if you're like me you will need to double check that your lunch is properly closed and/ or invest in a quality container. The practical side of it: Since the bag is not insulated, you can safely use it to carry your lunch if your workplace is less than 2 hours away from your house. If you live in a very warm climate and it's very hot outside (think 30C or 90F) when you leave the house you should probably be safe if your travel time is around 1 hour. I take my bag out of the backpack and put it directly in the fridge as it - and I haven't had any issues with it becoming to stiff (as I've seen with another waxed canvas item). The bonus: It feels fancy! When you open your bag, take out the napkin and then carefully extract your utensils from their very own pouch - you get that <I am in a restaurant> type of feeling. Like a boss! Of course, it can't hurt if you got a fancy fragrance dispenser in the office that creates the mood, if your lunch is already fancy to begin with (like the smoked salmon-white sauce farfalle recipe my colleague shared with us mmm-mmm-mm!) or if you have lunch with some amazing people that give you the type of conversations which you'd normally have on sunny days, during week-ends or vacations, on a terrace, under an umbrella.

Such a well made and sturdy bag. Has a very roomy interior, and is tall enough for a bottle or travel cup. Love the straps for easy carrying! I will be ordering another one.

I was a bit hesitant, but I've really liked this lunch bag, it feels nice, looks premium, and seems to be holding up well so far. I was looking for something that can hold lots without being a massive cooler, this really hit the spot.

This waxed canvas lunch bag from ASEBBO is extremely well made! The stitchings are reinforced inside, the material is sturdy (with 16 oz thickness you can really tell the difference) and the capacity of the bag is more than generous (you can easily carry 2-3 meals with this baby). This is not my first ASEBBO buy, I also bought the other lunch bag they sell, the insulated one. I am extremely satisfied with the insulated bag as well, but I decided to buy this one because it fits very well in my rucksack or lunch bag, so when I am not in the mood to carry an extra bag, I have this 2nd option in place. Even though this bag is not insulated (if would have been, then I guess the product would not have been biodegradable any more), my lunch is still cold enough when I eat it. I guess the thick material, and the fact that you can roll down the bag, plays a significant role here, so this bag does still insulate the food somehow. What I like about this product are the small details: the beautiful cardboard box, the thank you card, the tableware napkin, and flatware bag are quite useful and do make the whole package more attractive. I always appreciate well-made products and when a company strives to make its clients happy. This is why I wrote this long review, bearing in mind that feedbacks like mine are a way of saying "thank you" and can also support others to make wise decisions when deciding on their lunch bag.

good but it is not lethar

I purchased this lunch bag over 8 months ago but held off on reviewing the product for a couple reasons, first I wasn’t entirely happy with the product after a couple weeks in, and secondly, I wanted to have a good opportunity to use it. So considering I have now been using this bag for over 8 months every single day, and found the product to be very durable, I will focus on the first reason why Initially I was a bit dissatisfied for this review. After receiving my new bag I was quite pleased as it arrived on time, well packaged with all the accessories inside including the shoulder straps, instructions on caring for the product, silverware pouch and cloth napkin etc. All nicely presented which quickly tells you this was not your ordinary typical “ big box store” bag. I take a lunch to the office everyday so this bag complimented my attire with it’s stylish look and flare but after a couple weeks during the spring rain and light snow, I observed a discolouration after it was exposed to moisture, I immediately contacted the seller and later learned that my original bag was part of the first generation of the bags, and despite the durability and attractiveness they required a lot more effort for waxing than I was willing to give to care for it, this also being my first waxed canvas bag. I must say though, I have been shopping for many years both online and in stores but the level of customer service I received from this seller ( Christian ) is like nothing I have ever experienced before, he was Simply amazing in addressing all my issues, first he sent me a maintenance kit for waxing, after offering me a full refund plus I get to keep the product, which I refused, I loved the bag and just wanted the colour restored, not a free bag.. so after some correspondence via email I learned of the Second generation bag from the seller, he immediately sent me a replacement bag, once the NEW VERSION was available, This new bag is even more durable, better quality leather accessories straps, more vibrant colour and slightly larger cubic space which are all really nice upgrades. So far this new version have proven to be a much better quality product, I’m also very confident that with the proper use and care, this bag maybe around for a very long time, plus I know I can rest assured that if any issues should arise this seller will stand behind his product. Sorry for the lengthy review, but this has been an unusual experience for me but things worked out better than I could’ve expected it. So if you’re in the market for a great lunch bag give this bag a look and knowing that this seller got your back if for any reason you’re not satisfied....! Mein Mann ist sehr zufrieden, nutzt dies täglich für die Arbeit und sieht nach der Zeit nun, die er diese bereits in Gebrauch hat, immer noch gut aus.

As soon as I saw this bag I knew I’d like it and I just say, it is really nice. Now admittedly it does keep items cold for long, but personally this is something I assumed when I bought so I won’t knock it for that. I does keep items secure and this surprisely a decent amount of space. It is a practical lunch bag but you’ll be buying it more for style points. I’ve had a ton of compliments on it. I’d recommend an ice pack to keep things cool in this bag as it doesn’t have insulation. But I do not regret this purchase in the slightest. I actually look forward to bringing my lunch to work.

esta lonchera es práctica y tiene estilo. la lona es bastante gruesa y las partes de piel lo son en verdad. la correa es cómoda y el interior térmico funciona bien en clima caluroso. se siente muy bien hecha y durable. estoy muy contento con la compra. tiene garantía cuando la das de alta en la web del fabricante. venía incluso con una bolsita de lona para cubiertos de regalo.
