This is some of the finest panela I have been able to acquire in the US. It is fresh and fragrant and adds subtle flavor to everything I add it to. From cooking, baking, coffee or tea, or aguapanela, tamarindo or limeade, it is delicious and appetizing. I love this product and buy it at every opportunity. It is a rare privilege to buy this with such ease.

This is better than Wholesome Sweeteners sucanat. More flavor, softer texture, beautiful aroma. We use it for ceremonial cacao and in granola or morning oatmeal. The nutritional content is amazing for minimally processed sugar cane juice so we splurge on this because it's much healthier than white sugar.

This is real unrefined panela sugar.Good quality and flavor.I thought it would be a little bit darker, but actual color is fine. Flavor tastes like real panela from south America.Comes in laminated paper bag. Well sealed. The bag has a small filter system for ventilation. Good product and quality overall.

I use this to sweeten tea and coffee and for all my baking.This sugar is much better than Sugar In The Raw and the Demerara because none of the vital nutrients or the molasses which is naturally in this sugar are taken out.

I will never give less than five stars to a Colombian product because I was there and they even give ten year warranty on shoes??? It was amazing! Hands down always impress me.

This is my 3rd order from Origin. The first two were of high quality. The lastest order that I received today wasnt as brown and had a lot of white clumps. Not sure why.Hello Origin - what happened ? Why clumpy and why is the color whitish ?
