This a nice pencil.It is small,I like the thick lead as I break smaller leads too easily.There is an eraser under the endcap.

I love this pencil for drawing as well as everyday use.

If you want a mechanical pencil that feels good in the hand and is stylistic then this is a good pen to add to your collection.

I have both the E-Motion Fountain Pen and now Pencil version from Faber Castell and I can tell you from experience the E-Motion line are very comfortable and well weighted for comfortable writing. The design is a true work of art. If you are trying to decide if it is worth it consider this is like a cadillac compared to a Nissan Sentra. Both will get you there but one is going to do a better job relieving you of fatigue and comfort.

It certainly is a sleek product and feels luxurious in one's hand.A little pricey, especially since I discovered that I already had one in the workshop. Needless to say I brought it into the studio.

Once you have drawn with a Faber Castell E-Motion pencil, there will never be another mechanical pencil for you. These hard to find pencils (They also are made as Ball Point Pens) have a wonderful lead thickness, not too thick, and not so thin you break it every time you use it. It is a good idea to get a few Erasers and Leads refills. The Pencil is well balanced and has storage space for at least 6 spare leads and comes in many colors and different woods, with accents going from Black plastic, least expensive to Highly polished Chrome. Of course my favorite is the hardest to find and that is the Light Peach wood, but I will take what i can get with these they are so good and very long lasting especially when I consider the brutal treatment my pencils get

I have had a Faber-Castell mechanical pencil for over 20 years. It is one of the best pencils I have ever had with its comfortable, cigar shape, balanced weight, and quality eraser! So when I saw a Faber-Castell pencil with pear wood, I knew I wanted to add it to my other Faber-Castell.

Really like the size of the lead and the weight of the pencil. It has the feeling of quality. I have other mechanical pencils, but I think this will be the one that I primarily use. It was recommended by internationally known watercolor artist Thomas Schaller, who has used this pencil for years for sketching.

Últimamente está siendo difícil encontrar un portaminas de 1,4 mm, el grosor que a mí me gusta. Por este motivo elegí este portaminas, además que me encanto cuando lo vi. Y no me defraudo cuando lo recibí y lo usé. El mecanismo de sacar y meter la mina, por la suavidad como lo hace, te das cuenta de lo cuidadoso y preciso que ha debido ser su proceso de fabricación. En una compra importa saber, y cada vez más, tres condiciones: - Dónde se diseña - Dónde se controla la producción. - Dónde se fabrica, Y por este orden. Este producto por su calidad, diseño y con lo que viene acompañado, no tengo dudas dónde se ha controlado la producción y se ha realizado el diseño. Otros factores que me han gustado son que el producto viene con su manual de instrucciones en varios idiomas, y dos cajas, una de ellas muy bonita que se puede utilizar perfectamente para entregar el portaminas como regalo. Estos últimos factores no son habituales. Reconozco que el producto es un poco caro, pero por lo anteriormente expuesto, ha merecido la pena su compra.

Un excelente producto de gran calidad

A primera vista, la duda es si un portaminas aparentemente grueso resultará cómodo. Pero una vez que se empieza a escribir con él se adapta a la perfección a la mano, siendo un placer utilizarlo. La mina, de 1.4 no implica ni escritura ni subrayados gruesos (también es muy válida para el dibujo rápido) siendo de gran suavidad (al contrario que las minas de 0.5 o 0.7, que en ocasiones llegan a arañar el papel). En definitiva, una escritura óptima, muy suave (una virtud de la mina de Faber Castell). El diseño, cuestión de gusto, me parece fantástico. Sus materiales, como era de esperar, de primera calidad. Un portaminas sólido y agradable. En su interior, desenroscando la parte delantera, hay un compartimento para guardar minas de repuesto. En mi pedido, además de una mina ya colocada, venía otra adicional. La presentación es buena. El portaminas me llegó en una pequeña cajetilla verde y, además, se acompañaba de un estuche, de cartón duro, pero de buena presencia, muy adecuado para regalar. Y es que, no sólo compré uno para mí; compré otro también para regalar.
