Discover the internationally acclaimed time management system that’s gone viral on TikTok and has already changed millions of lives! Francesco Cirillo developed his famed system for improving productivity as a college student thirty years ago. Using a kitchen timer shaped like a pomodoro (Italian for tomato ), Cirillo divided the time he spent working on a project into 25-minute intervals, with 5-minute breaks in between, in order to get more done, without interruptions. By grouping a number of pomodoros together, users can tackle a project of any length, and drastically improve their productivity, enhance their focus, and better achieve their goals. Originally self-published, and shared virally online, this new publication of The Pomodoro Technique includes several new chapters on how teams can use the pomodoro method to save time and increase productivity. The process underlying Cirillo’s technique includes five stages: planning the day’s tasks, tracking your efforts, recording your daily activities, processing what you have done, and visualizing areas for improvement. With this tried and tested method, readers can simplify their work, find out how much time and effort a task really requires, and improve their focus so they can get more done in the same amount of time each day. Review: Short to the page! - The book is a quick read and enough to understand the ins and outs of the Pomodoro Technique. I've tried the technique even before reading it and loved how I didn't get exhausted at the end of my long day. It's probably the most simple time management technique out there. Review: Great technique for people with ADHD. - I've struggled with getting started on boring tasks and working diligently and quickly to completion. This method has been a game changer. I no longer feel mentally fatigued at the end of the day, I'm finishing work much faster, and I suddenly have more spare time. This is like a miracle!

A simple concept to understand but challenging in practice.
I think that this book exemplifies the concept of keeping it simple. The author thoroughly prepared the reader for applying the Pomodoro technique to their lives as individuals and as a part of a team, the latter I was not expecting. He even prepares you for the mental/emotional battles that you will inevitably face internally. I appreciated the simple style of writing and the easy read. I will consider this a reference book and will return to it for reiteration on applying the method.

Great technique, not very helpful book
This book feels woefully repetitive and underdeveloped. While there are some sections that provide extra information in how to deal with distractions during a session and how to divide larger tasks into batches of 7 or so Pomodoro sessions, the book just does not have the cohesive feel of a well thought out, complete productivity program. It is as if there are two parts to this book: 1) background on the well-known 25-minute timed sessions, and 2) tangential, less well-developed information about dealing with distractions, dividing up tasks, an ill-defined section on working in "timetables" and then the "team" chapter that has no utility for an individual. td;dr read a blog post about Pomodoro and you are good to go

Pomodoro Really Works, try it and you will achieve your goals!
Liked this very much and using it now. Needed this years ago, but I am glad to have found it after researching info to help me with my study sessions. This is also great to use at work for tasks. The non app Pomodoro timer I use at home gets your attention too, it gets your adrenaline going when the alarm sounds for your scheduled break.

Great Time Management Technique
Very quick read. The beginning was a bit jumbled; could have been a little better organized. It eventually makes sense. Overall though, it’s a great productivity system and appears to be easy to implement.

além do timer
Necessário para estudar produtividade e foco e ir além dos timers que apenas engessam o trabalho. Claro e direto ao ponto

Great Time-Management System for those Battling Procrastination
If you’re battling procrastination and looking to improve your time-management skills, this is the book for you. It’s easy to follow and offers practical advice on how to apply the Pomodoro Technique to your work life. The technique divides your work into focused 25-minute intervals followed by short breaks, which helps maintain concentration and reduce fatigue. By repeating this process throughout the day, tasks become more manageable and procrastination is minimized. The process ultimately leads to increased productivity and a healthier work-life balance. Although I found the book worthwhile to read, it’s important to note that you don’t need to read it in order to use the Pomodoro Technique. The method is simple, and summaries are widely available, so you can easily implement it without the book’s fuller explanation. The technique will likely not work for everyone. Some people simply resist any type of structured routine for their workday, despite the inevitable stress and risk of burnout it can cause. Personally, I found that 25 minute intervals are sometimes not enough to make meaningful progress on tasks requiring deep, uninterrupted concentration to complete. Overall, I think this book is best suited for people who struggle with procrastination and want a simple, easy to implement system to bring more structure to their day.

Just surf the net rather than buy.
Not worth buying - it's good, but you can get it all online.
