Akebono Performance ASP1118 Akebono Performance Ultra Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Kit, GREY

I tried everything to stop the annoying noise my Lexus will do when I’ll come to a stop, from brake pad grease to pastes.. nothing was permanent… I decided to give these a shot as a “final option before I change the rotors themselves” and PROBLEM SOLVED! No more annoying brake squeak, no brake dust and hardly and decrease in braking performance unless I overheat them, that doesn’t happen often so I can’t really complain. I’d recommend these to anyone that’s doubting these because of the brand(non oem)

Use these to correct brake squeal

Went through 2 sets of Powersqueaks errr Powerbrakes. Both sets had terrible cold start high pitched squeaks. I rolled the dice on our RC 350 F Sport and these are dead silent plus they stop great. I am really pleased with these.

Great for an oem like replacement on my IS350. Great stopping, no noise, no brake dust and should last longer then oem pads. So far so good.

The brakes feel softer, but perhaps I need to blade more air? Who knows...Dust free. Loving it. No more black dirty rims. Will get rear pads also, after using these.. No doubt!

My new go to brake pads

They worked great on my 2015 gs 350 f sport. It eliminated a hair raising screech I had with the factory pads when braking at low speeds. I would recommend to other Lexus owners experiencing the same known problem associated with Lexus factory pads and that model gs

This is my 2nd set of Akebono performance pads and will be my last. I bought these based on the high reviews even though my first experience is being duplicated now. I do admit that these pads have a noticeable performance increase and are very consistent! I do like the initial bite and performance when hot. However, when they are cold they squeal like crazy! That tells me that these pads like heat but it is annoying the heck out of my wife and she is demanding I get rid of these pads now with only15k miles on them. My rears are getting close so both will be coming off to keep her happy. I don't have these problems with Raybestos or Wagner pads, but I wanted something with more bit to go with the heavy duty rotors I bought. I almost bought PFC pads because i've had great luck with those Carbon Metallic pads, but they too have a little noise so when I read these reviews I was really hopeful - NOPE. Buy them for the performance but note they may have noise when cold.
