Q: What are the round, small pellets, dark brown or black in the food? There is no smell but my dog won't eat them. I have used this food for 3 days.

I think they are blue berry's some times my dog leaves them out but she doesn't like real blue berry's either

Yes it helps their weight a lot. It is also great for dogs with sensitive tummies. My little girls love it and are doing great on this food.

Q: What are the kcals on the Healthy weight turkey and potato?

I have 3 dogs (2 French bulldogs and a 60lb Mutt (pitbull/Rhodesian ridgeback). One of Frenchies has severe allergies so I avoid chicken & turkey foods. I feed them Basics Salmon & potatoe (366 kcal/cup) and Basics Lamb & potatoe (330 kcals/cup). Because they are all spoiled, I do mix in a tiny bit of the moist food to the dry. Be sure to transition the new food gradually. They love these flavors and it's easier to digest!
