Round Pocket Door Lock, Privacy (Bed/Bath) Latch, 2-3/8" Backset, RCL, Vintage Bronze by Stone Harbor Hardware

I had been searching for the right pocket door hardware for quite a while until I stumbled upon this one. I had tried the Kwikset hardware and several others, but all of the ones I had previously tried were cheap metal clearly made in China that felt like it was going to break on Day 1. The Kwikset hardware I bought barely latched correctly. So it was a relief to finally find something that at least seems like it will last a while.While this set is still not what you would call bulletproof, it was much more sturdy and reliable than anything else I tried. I have had it installed on my door for 6 months and still like it a lot, with no problems so far.

Handsome design, nice quality and has a clever locking design. a bit more work to install than some locks, but well worth the time. the price was competitive with similar products from of name brand manufacturers. Make sure your door is adjusted and aligned properly, then Install the lock cylinder, then mark the latch location and install it into the jam.

It is a quality product. I converted two of our home's original 6-panel oak doors to pocket doors. The doors have a 2 3/4" backset, which is somewhat uncommon for a pocket door. Happily, the Stone Harbor pocket door lock is well made and saved me the cost of two oak doors!

I found that it was very particular on installation. Specifically the receiving plate had to be in the exact position for the latch and lock to work smoothly. Even then, I told the homeowner to set the lock first and then close the door. Which is not intuitive for guests.We were happy with the “antique nickel”. Had never heard of it but it was a good compromise betw the nickel fixtures in the bath and the antique brass in the rest of the house.

....at a very reasonable price. I was surprised that there are not more quality, attractive pocket door lock options on the market. This lock is solid and looks very nice. Will easily work to replace an existing doors' established hardware or on a new install. I am very happy with my purchase it is much sturdier than a well known name brand counterpart.Item is lighter in color than pictured. I was actually pleased with the patina it coordinates better with other antique brass fixtures than if it were not.

Looks great on my bathroom pocket door. As a latch it works great. As a pull it could be better. I bought an additional "flush pull" in the same color to give me more control of the door, which is a heavy solid wood pocket door hung from rollers on a rail above.

Very nice option compared to traditional pocket door pulls. The only negative is that I think the baskets could be slightly deeper for easier movement...still deserving of five starts however. The locking mechanism is solid and works great. Nice looking pulls.

These are slick! They look amazing, install easily and work as intended. They do take a bit of getting used to by their design being so slim, I could see someone with gorilla hands not being happy.
