Went totally dead after a little over 2 months. I have a 18 month warranty. They want me to send it in for repair and that my drive would be wiped out because they restore to factory settings. So in other words, I lose all my important data. It's all on the hard drive that they can steal if I send it to them. Why would I do that. I told them I would take the drive out and send it in. They can repair it and then send it back without a drive. Now it's crickets. I would not recommend buying from this seller.

Disclamer: I'm former IT, and have built and configured many Windows machines. I purchased this mini-computer to use as a streaming PC, replacing one that I thought was having problems because, while I could get video out the HDMI connections, I couldn't get any audio. The BMax computer was easy to set up (caveats below), but it didn't solve the problem. Although I got sound out of it for about 30 minutes, I ended up having the same problem - no audio via HDMI - as I was having before. So I decided to return the BMax computer. I discovered the first problem, unrelated to the audio issue, when I went to install my photo organizing software (Mylio). I use that on the streaming PC so, when we have someone come over, we can see all our pictures on the large screen TV. However, I kept getting an error message when trying to install the software on the BMax machine. Second problem. Knowing that I was going to return it, I tried to reset it to factory condition. Note here that initially I didn't see that by hitting F9 during the boot process, the machine could be reset. Initially I tried to do it via the Windows reset option. No dice. I then tried to re-install Windows using a known good setup from a USB stick. Again, no dice, with an error message that the machine didn't meet Microsoft's requirements for Windows 11. I opened up the machine's BIOS, but couldn't find any setting for TPM 2. Searching on the web, I tried adding the 'necessary' key to the registry to bypass the TPM 2 requirement. Still no dice. That's when I finally saw that I could use the F9 key; that worked. All of this leads me to believe that the manufacturer took some dubious shortcuts in installing Windows 11 (build 23H2, BTW, which is now a year old). It also leads me to believe that those shortcuts will prevent the machine from ever getting recent build updates. Build 24H2 already has some stricter requirements that require using a special switch on older machines in order to get it to install (personal experience with another, older PC). Thus the 3-star rating.

Love this PC. The Ram, storage, processor, and other specs are just so outstanding for the price. But the icing on the cake? It happens to be sooo tiny. No huge box to clutter your desk or the floor. This is so compact and lightweight you could easily Velcro it to the side, or even the underside, of your desk to keep it neatly tucked out of the way. The only downside of the small size is the limited number of USB ports, but a very inexpensive USB hub would solve that if you need more (most people wouldn't). It does have two HDMI ports, however, for dual monitors if you so choose. What a little powerhouse at a superb price! Very, very pleased. Bought this to replace my wife's old PC, and I plan to buy another to replace my PC.

I used this mini PC to set up a digital photo album that displays on a 32" TV. It works perfectly and can be tucked behind the TV screen out of sight. Connected easily, runs the program without issue and doesn't get too hot.
