I would probably give it 4.5 stars if we had half stars. I like the device especially that it is bidirectional in that it can be plugged into the charger or the device. It is smaller than I had envisioned but the screen is easy to read. with large letters and high contrast colors. Edit after 6 months: I had. to buy 2 more. The information is addicting. I learned that USB-C power negotiates voltage, my iPhne goes up to 9.8 volts. We can judge the progress by how much power is being used with my power block I go up to 18.5 W and usually use 2-3 Wh for a full charge. Since everything seems to have a charging port these days I like to know their capacity. Yes we can get a good idea from how long it takes to charge and how hot the device gets but we techno geeks like knowing useless details. Even if the only use is where to plug in my phone for the fastest charge. ` The 2 buttons are tiny for us handicapped oldsters. They take a short and long press so 4 functions on 2 buttons. A little confusing at first but I just found the setting I like and don't see the need to change it. I don't have a calibrated meter to compare it but my iPhone draws 19.7 W from my 20W charger and 19.8 from a power strip with USB ports. A USB hub, my slow charger measure 7.4W. My Fire 10 draws 11.8 W. These are very close to what I expected. It is also informative to watch a device -charge to 100%. It goes to zero for a few seconds then charges for a few seconds in and endless cycle.making it clear why we should leave it any device plugged in long after charging is complete.

This USB-C power tester functions correctly and offers a robust set of features. Despite its minimal size, it is capable of performing many complex electrical tests across various USB-C devices, chargers, and power supplies. The product description is accurately presented, and a simple instructions leaflet is included. From a practical standpoint, the small, built-in navigation buttons are somewhat challenging to operate. Given the device's fragile appearance, extra care must be taken when pressing these buttons while the unit is connected. A notable feature is the graphic display, which provides useful power monitoring over time. It's important to note that mastering the full operating cycle and advanced functions of this tester will require a time investment and prior technical knowledge of electrical measurements. Novice users seeking only basic measurements may find simpler, more affordable testers to be a better entry point. Overall Impression: I am thoroughly satisfied with the performance and value of this investment.

Worked right out of the box. I'm using this tester to check USB C cables and whether my USB power sources (in my race cars) are working correctly. What sets this tester apart is that the connections are both input and output. The display is small but readable without reading glasses. Overall the best USB C tester.

Does what it is intended to do, namely measure voltage, amperage, and wattage. Accurate results when compared with more expensive test equipment. Please note that the USB-C standard requires that a load be present (i.e. input and output connected) in order to turn on and provide a reading. Changing the display language from Chinese to English was frustrating and time consuming with the vague menu selection buttons. Small, yet clear display.
