KAVU Women's Paxton Pack, Jet Black, No Size

I adore these bags so much! I have 2, & I bought 3 for Christmas to give my kids & a fam member ☺️ Everyone is enjoying them!I usually use a fanny pack for errands, but when I need to travel with more or go to work- it’s the perfect size for me. Comfortable to sling up on your shoulder, carries the bottle upright & snug, sits up straight when you set on the table, easy to slide to front to access the mini pocket I store my phone & ear buds in. Even when I have it packed I don’t have issues accessing or digging to find things because of the wide and angled zipper. The teardrop shape design is cute & makes it feel less bulky (considering now much you can actually fit inside!).Lots of great patterns & I'm happy with the quality ❤️

This is an almost "5-star" bag. It is the second Kavu rope sling bag I have purchased and both suffer from what I consider a significant negative. There is a liner of padding about 1/8" thick inside the back of the bag where it falls against the body (presumably to add padding against the body). In my view, it is too stiff and not thick enough to serve its intended purpose. Instead, the stiffness prevents the bag from lying nicely against the stomach and rib area and instead, makes the bag stick out away from the body in a funky way. In both cases, I was able to "fix" it to my satisfaction by going in, ripping some seams, and pulling the padding out. I then had to have a shoe repair shop res-stitch. Works just as I had hoped after that revision. But it is very difficult to find which seam to rip, and easy to tear or cut the fabric around the stitching. And, for a $50 bag, it shouldn't be necessary to do all that work and pay another $20 or so to have it re-stitched. For that reason I took off 2 stars. It is an otherwise nice bag, and the right size for my purposes (which is to day-carry my small MILS camera, an extra lens, a light raincoat/jacket, a water bottle and a few other small items.

I have been wanting a Paxton bag for over a year and held off bc I have a lot of bags already.Pros- Nice looking bag, interior main pocket is a good size, construction seems decent, nice deep bottle pocket.Cons--Hidden tech pocket is WAY too small. My old shitty phone *barely* fits. I doubt anyone with a nice new big iphone would be able to get it in there - plus, it would be nice if this pocket was large enough to hold a phone AND your wallet since it's the most secure pocket.- I wish the key clip was in the interior top of the main pocket, not the small front pocket. Since the tech pocket is so ludicrously small I often just want to throw my phone in the front pocket but don't want my screen getting scratched by my keys. Most of diaper bags have key clip hanging from the top inside main compartment and I like this design much better.- my biggest gripe - it's just not that comfortable 🤷‍♀️ if have my 24 oz water, and tbh, not even that much heavy stuff (diapers, wipes, baby outfit, baby snacks, wallet, keys, phone) my shoulder starts to feel it pretty quickly. You can't switch shoulders so you're just stuck with discomfort.- the bottle pocket is nice and deep, but the mesh is not constrictive enough to keep the bottle in if you bend over from the waist. My bottle flew out a few times before I caught on I couldn't bend over with this bag. My bottle could've whacked my head, feet, or my kids, just lucky they didn't.

I thought it would be a little bigger, I wish it was I'd say it medium sized. Glad I didn't get the smaller model. Anyway it seems very well constructed and should last a long time. I do have Kavu wallet and it's held up GREAT!👍
