We browsed through a number of similar-appearing floor lamps and selected this one primarily because at 69 inches it was taller than many other models. But although we picked it for its height we are delighted with the lamp because of its many other outstanding qualities.First, the lamp's minimalist design allows it to illuminate a room without itself becoming a "feature" in the room. It's elegant but unobtrusive. We like that.As many other reviewers have commented, it's exceedingly bright. Shining up on a light-colored ceiling it will illuminate quite a large area without glare. If less light is desired it is dimmable using either the remote control or a switch on the pole down to near zero brightness.It's easy to cycle through the three color temperatures - 3000°K, 4000°K, 5000°K - with either of the two controls. Because we've been excited about the lamp we've tried it in different rooms and been surprised to learn that we don't prefer the same color in every room. Although our ceilings are white I can envision that someone with non-white ceilings could partially compensate for that by adjusting the color temperature.The lamp remembers both the brightness level and color temperature, not only when it is switched off but also when the power is cut off. So if it is powered up with either a wall switch or a smart plug it will turn on with the proper settings.I encountered a minor issue with the control switch on the pole and emailed JOOFO customer service about the problem. I got a reply seven minutes later(!) that resolved the situation in a manner that was more then fair.Needless to say, we couldn't be happier with this lamp. Like other reviewers, we plan to buy one or more additional units for the other places in our house where we found it worked so well.

I've been using this floor lamp in my home office for over a month now so I've had time to get used to its controls, the remote and generally the adequacy of its brightness. Overall I am happy with the lamp. The remote is nice because it is magnetic so I can "stick" it to a filing cabinet near my desk or a desk leg. I almost always use the remote now and find it very convenient. The switch on the lamp, and the buttons on the remote, are all easy to use, don't require excessive pressure to activate but also aren't so sensitive that they are too easy to change - they are about perfect in terms of ergonomic use.The lamp feels well built and sturdy, though it is minimalist in design and intentionally very thin. I happen to like that look, though not everyone will. At first, I was afraid it would be easily knocked over, but after a month or so, it seems well balanced and no easier to knock over than an older more traditional looking, though also stainless, lamp it replaced. I like the minimalist design that consumes less space in the room. It will bring out your inner Scandinavian!The three lamp color options are nice, but I always use the middle color temp setting so there's not much need to be able to change the temp. The tilting lamp head is nice, but since it can't be pointed downward to get more light on a work surface, there's really not much point in it. Ours is pointed straight up like a standard floor lamp would be and we've never moved it from there. There's nothing wrong with having features you don't use, but for the same price, I would have preferred they eliminate the color temp choice and tilting, and put more money into a brighter bulb - see below.The only shortcoming of the lamp is that it is not very bright. Anything other than the brightest setting wouldn't be useful for much more than as a night light or perhaps mood lighting in a larger room. At the brightest setting it gives off an adequate amount of light for most office uses, but just barely. Another 10-20W of light would be much nicer. I would prefer an LED lamp that would have enough light for reading or working in a home office at 70-80% maximum brightness, so there would be a little headroom for those task, or older eyes, when they needed just a little more light.Overall, I recommend this lamp. Some people with like the more incandescent lamp color or the harsher cold lamp color, and some may want the ability to tilt the head a bit, and be very satisfied with the overall brightness.

This lamp looks modern and gives off a bright, soft light that fills the room nicely. Setup was simple, and the remote control is very convenient. One of my favorite features is that it works great with Alexa, making it easy to control brightness and settings hands-free. Perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere in the living room or bedroom. Great value for the price!

The JOOFO Floor Lamp has become a favorite in my living room. It gives off plenty of light without glare, and the 3 color temperature options let me switch between warm cozy lighting, natural daylight, and crisp bright tones depending on what I’m doing — reading, relaxing, or working.The modern design fits well with different decor styles, and the build feels sturdy and well made. Setup was quick, and the controls are intuitive. I especially like how bright it gets at 2400 lumens — it really lights up a whole corner of the room without being harsh.
