The UL Classified, polyurethane foam forms a permanent, waterproof and airtight bond to masonry, wood, glass, metal and most plastics. It stops drafts, dust, moisture, insects and rodents. It cures to a semi-rigid, closed cell foam that insulates to R-5 for each inch of foam. It uses a non-flammable propellant and a 360 degree valve for safe and accurate dispensing. It is also reusable for up to 30 days after initial use. Recommended for filling, insulating, sealing, bonding, protecting and sound deadening in construction, HVAC, electrical, industrial, plumbing and many mo re applications. You can fill the hole with foam, then when it sets dig the hardened foam out to a depth of 1/4 inch or so and cover over with stucco patch. **Q: Can this be used in hollow interior doors for sound proofing?** A: I don't think that would be a good idea. Even though this is minimally expanding, it expands enough that it would sure bow out the very thin skins of a hollow core door. Not only that, you would need several cans and would be better off putting that cost toward replacing with a solid core door. **Q: Can this be used to seal a window to prevent water leaks?** A: Not in any way ment to be an authiritive answer, but something like this would be better. It requires a calk gun to apply it. But they are cheap to buy as well.
