Applies only to 0.05% fluoride formulas Review: Highly recommend - As a parent, I’m always looking for ways to make oral hygiene easier and more enjoyable for my child, and introducing a kid-friendly mouthwash has been a surprisingly helpful addition to our routine. We chose a brand specifically made for kids — alcohol-free, gentle, and with a mild flavor. My son actually likes using it (which is half the battle), and the fun flavor options like bubble gum or mild mint make it feel more like a treat than a chore. It’s now a regular part of his bedtime routine, right after brushing. What I like most is that it helps reach the spots brushing might miss, especially at this age when technique isn’t always perfect. It gives me peace of mind knowing he’s getting extra protection against cavities, especially since he’s still learning the ropes of consistent brushing and flossing. The measuring cap is easy to use, and the label is clear about age recommendations and how much to use. I also appreciate that it doesn’t contain harsh ingredients or artificial dyes. Overall, I highly recommend adding a kid-safe mouthwash to your child’s oral care routine. It’s boosted my son’s confidence about having “fresh breath” and made hygiene time a little more fun. Review: Great flavor, fun design, and it actually gets my kid excited to rinse! - This was our very first time trying a mouthwash for kids, and I’m so glad we chose this one. The bubble gum flavor is a big hit with my daughter — she says it tastes great and never complains about using it. But what really makes it stand out is the design of the bottle. She loves squeezing it until the liquid fills the cap to the line. It makes the process fun and mess-free, and she's completely taken ownership of it. What I didn’t expect is how much she enjoys the routine. Using this mouthwash has made her more excited about her overall mouth care. It’s become a habit she looks forward to every day, which as a parent, is a huge win. I also appreciate that it contains fluoride for cavity protection and is gentle enough for young kids. If you’re starting out with mouthwash for your child, I highly recommend this one. It’s a great way to build healthy habits with a product they’ll actually enjoy using. ## Features - Contains: One (1) 16.9-fluid-ounce bottle of ACT Kids Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash, Bubble Gum Blowout - Prevents Cavities: This mouthwash is formulated with fluoride to reduce the occurrence of cavities by up to 40% for better checkups - Freshens Breath: ACT swishes away particles brushing may miss and has a delicious bubble gum flavor that encourages kids to swish - Strengthens Teeth: Use for one minute, once a day, for up to four-times-stronger teeth* *In lab studies vs. rinsing with water (baseline) - Maximum Strength: Powered by the maximum strength of fluoride available in a rinse without a prescription - Easy To Use: Comes with a built-in accurate dosing cup designed for easy use and less mess ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000YJU21O | | Active Ingredients | Sodium Fluoride | | Age Range (Description) | Kid | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,401 in Health & Household ( See Top 100 in Health & Household ) #21 in Mouthwashes | | Brand | ACT | | Brand Name | ACT | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 15,972 Reviews | | Flavor | Bubble Gum | | Global Trade Identification Number | 10041167094447 | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Highlight | Sugar free and alcohol free mouth rinse for children, strengthen teeth, reduce occurrence of cavities, maximum OTC fluoride | | Item Weight | 1.3 pounds | | Liquid Volume | 479 ml | | Manufacturer | ACT | | Manufacturer Part Number | 518439 | | Material Features | Alcohol Free | | Material Type Free | Alcohol Free,Alcohol-free | | Model Number | 518439 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Benefits | Cavity Protection | | UPC | 885222336508 885222319402 649684720028 885810115928 885260143946 041167094440 | | Unit Count | 16.9 Fluid Ounces | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Kid - **Brand:** ACT - **Flavor:** Bubble Gum - **Liquid Volume:** 479 ml - **Product Benefits:** Cavity Protection ## Images ![Kids Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash, Bubble Gum Blowout, 16.9 fl. oz. - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71r9XPLUTNL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Flavor** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is there a minimum age for a toddler to use?** A: Children need to be able to swish and spit, so mouthwash for children is not recommended before the age of 6. Occasionally, younger children will be given medicinal mouthwash prescribed by a dentist. If you are on a municipal water supply, fluoride is already added to the water in levels determined to be safe by the EPA. Well water does not have Fluoride so you should consulate with your dentist or pediatrician or family physcian on the best way to make sure your child(ren) have the amount of fluoride they need to help prevent tooth decay. **Q: Where is this mouthwash manufactured? I cant find the country of origin in the product description.** A: Why does it matter? Water quality. As well as knowing if it is a US product. Amazon doesn’t always know where these products are from. This could be made in China for all we know & sold to look like the real product. **Q: How is it alcohol free when the #1 inactive ingredient is alcohol?** A: Benzyl Alcohol. Although the term “alcohol” is used in the name, it does not contain any ethanol, the volatile alcohol found in alcoholic beverages and mouthwash products, and may be present in products that are considered alcohol free. in chemistry the term alcohol is used more broadly to describe many organic compounds that share a common functional group, even though the materials themselves all behave very differently. These “alcohols” include aromatic alcohols like benzyl alcohol and fatty alcohols like stearyl alcohol that may be present in consumer products labeled as alcohol free . Hope this helps. **Q: Someone said the straw can be pulled out? How do you do that? The packaging is awful.** A: That has never happen to me. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend *by A***E on June 1, 2025* As a parent, I’m always looking for ways to make oral hygiene easier and more enjoyable for my child, and introducing a kid-friendly mouthwash has been a surprisingly helpful addition to our routine.
