This is a beautiful piece of furniture. I couldn't wait to get it, put it together and find a great spot for it. Problem is, I haven't found a great spot for it...and I am very saddened by that. It won't fit in my kitchen - too many windows or doorways, my foyer is not big enough because nothing besides the cabinet would fit. My den is not practical, my office is too small - and no matter the room you put it in, it seems like you cannot utilize all the very cool assets. I was even hoping to put it in my bedroom for hanging things on the hooks and use of the mirror, but that's a no-go too. Really bummed. I plan to keep it, but right now it's a very heavy object taking up space. One more thing, you also have to allow for turning it around so a corner or small wall would be best. Otherwise, the packaging was great and the product is very well made. My husband put it together in about 45 minutes - he is very handy. NOTE TO SELF if you purchase this (I read about this in one of the other reviews and still did it anyway) make sure the holes for the hooks are at the TOP of the cabinet when you are putting it together. My husband did not notice that until he went to put on the hooks, and they were at the bottom of the cabinet, and the instructions do not mention anything about the hooks and to put the board with the holes near the top. Otherwise I highly recommend this cabinet. I bought black and it is really pretty. The base of my unit had MINOR scrapes of the paint from the wood, but nothing that a black marker or shoe polish wouldn't fix super easy. Nothing broken or missing. I did have styrofoam everywhere but better that then damaged goods. In the meantime, I am still looking for that perfect spot in my house.

The bookcase is good, sturdy and it looks elegant. However, one of the pieces was cracked from end to end, I am guessing it was mishandled as the box looks like it was hit. "Good" thing the problem was with the top part of the bookcase which will not support most of the weight. Other than that, the bookcase is good. I called Amazon and they provided good support and a reasonable solution.The vendor must mark the box as Heavy so the handlers are aware and can move it or transport it properly.

The item came chipped up in places. The instruction were, in fact, HORRIBLE, but not impossible to figure it out.

I do enjoy the piece, I've had it a couple of days. It was easy to put together but does seem quite sturdy. Like others have said though the paint coat could be better, it did arrive with a few dings.

I bought this cabinet as gift fire my wife. She had once years ago Ann's wanted it again. It arrived And I put it together with no problem. About two weeks later, my wife came home and found the mirror cracked (the length of the mirror). The is not anything touching and nothing hit it. Its not close to the wall and nothing was blocking the swivel. I'm so disappointed and there is no way to remove the mirror and replace it.I guess it's not a well made product.

The product was damaged around the edge and corners. Considering the cost of the item, plus the cost to have a professional assemble it, I'm disappointed. It's too heavy to send back, so there will aL so be a cost to repair it.

LOVE, Love, love this! I'm buying another one now. My living room and home office are now separate AND organized!...bought some faux-leather storage bins to put on the shelves and turned one of them into :"file cabinet", it looks great! As others have stated, very heavy but this is a definite PLUS...NOT cheaply made.

great tower-very nice quality. couldn’t be more pleased! easy to put together for an average ability adult-u may need a little help w) assembly from family/friends just to hold things in place.
