## Description

Fifteen bulbs is enough to fill a whole bed, line a fence or walkway, or ring a pond with big tropical leaves. Elephant ears grow fast once the weather warms up, and by late summer you'll have a full, lush look. What's in the box - 15 live Colocasia esculenta bulbs - A Greenhouse PCA grow guide - Wood shavings that keep the bulbs at the right humidity during shipping - All packed in a Greenhouse PCA box Planting tips Plant after your last frost once the soil is warm. Set each bulb 2 to 3 inches deep, pointed end up, with about 2 feet between them. Elephant ears like rich soil and lots of water, so keep the soil moist through summer. They grow in full sun if watered often, or in part shade. The Greenhouse PCA grow guide covers each step in detail. Over winter In zones 8 to 11 the bulbs stay in the ground and come back every year. In colder areas, dig them up after the first light frost, let them dry for a few days, and store them in a cool, dry spot until spring.

## Features

- Comes With Our Greenhouse PCA Grow Guide: Inside every box is a Greenhouse PCA grow guide with step by step planting instructions, plus tips on watering, soil, and keeping your bulbs through the winter.
- Shipped in Wood Shavings by Greenhouse PCA: We pack your bulbs in a Greenhouse PCA box filled with our wood shavings. The shavings hold just the right amount of moisture during shipping, so your bulbs stay healthy until they reach you.
- 15 Green Elephant Ear Bulbs: This pack has 15 live Colocasia esculenta corms from Greenhouse PCA. You may also know this plant as taro, gabi, kalo or eddo.
- Tropical Look by Midsummer: Plant in spring and watch the leaves unroll on tall stems through the summer. Greenhouse PCA elephant ears commonly grow 3 to 6 feet tall with large heart-shaped leaves.
- Beds, Borders, Ponds or Containers: Give them rich soil, steady water, and full sun to part shade. They return each year in zones 8 to 11. In colder zones, lift the bulbs in fall and plant again in spring. The grow guide walks you through it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are they perennial bulbs**
A: Yes
Ut if planted in a container will not survive a hard freeze; but if in ground probably ok. At least in southern areas anyway

**Q: How many bulbs do you get?**
A: You get 15 bulbs but I do not recommend this product none of these bulb grew I am not sure if they old or just dead.

**Q: Can these bulbs still be planted in Oklahoma and come up June 2019?**
A: Most of my bulbs came with bits of green growth on the tops but once planted, it will still take several weeks to see the green tips again. It will take time for the plants to mature but each year you will notice a more aggressive growth pattern. I planted mine about 6 weeks ago and they are about 6 inches tall with green leaves. So the height of the plant will probably not come full-term this year but will more than likely do so next year as they are already in the ground and can start growing sooner than now. I have some from 2 years ago and those are already 3 feet high but they started growing long before I got these bulbs. Hope this helps.

**Q: Are these black bulbs**
A: No, the photo is very true to color.
