Updated review, stopped working 6 months use
Changing review, would be zero stars if possible. Not even 6 months after I bought this the HD stopped working entirely. With almost 6TB of data, inaccessible. It just stopped powering on when I plugged it in. Never dropped, never bumped, no reason for the sudden non-responsiveness. Do not recommend. Buy a better product. Great backup HD. Fast and compact. Came with attachment converter for my newer Mac laptop to change from it's original USB to Type 3. My Mac doesn't have the older USB connection, so this was really helpful. Was as described; plug and use capability with no reformatting needed for use with Mac. Review edited, do not recommend, stopped working less than 6 months of use. 6T of data not accessible.
