I recently gained an interest in the human body after the emergence of the coronavirus. Plus, the fact that I have horrible health insurance and that one bad slip up would cost me in the thousands, I decided to study up to make sure I'm treating my body correctly. This little book is perfect for someone like me who is a self learner. It has lots of information laid out in an easily digestible way. Sometimes, if I want to delve more into a particular section or see it explained a different way, all I have to do is check the internet. I've seen some people talk about the size of the book. For me, the size is perfect. I can carry it anywhere and the size of the book doesn't affect the clarity of the illustrations. All in all, this book rocks!

I never took A&P (anatomy & physiology) in school so I needed a user-friendly, easy book that I could follow with nice pictures and a glossary of common medical diseases/illnesses- this is it!! Great for novices like me :)

I take with me to work at the hospital and many of my coworkers loved it. The content is very easy to understand and very clearly illustrated. The size is great to fit in my backpack.

I really love this book because tbh I got it at a super cheap price and getting the book used wasn't a problem for me (scratches didnt bother me) Personally I'm going to college for nursing and I also did an internship where I did anatomy lab and a lot of the terms I was told was in this book but more defined. This book is very useful to have if your interested on knowing about the human body with nice diagrams and definitions. Perfect for your everyday go n say if your ever bored you could check out the book. I love how its not only the human anatomy but the book also introduces body disorder,human cells,DNA,etc. The small size is perfect and the book itself is pretty clear. I'm looking forward on studying the book on my free time to get a head start in school. :)

This book is most informative, but it is much too small in size and its extremely small print makes it difficult for my pre-teen granddaughter to use.

It is exactly what it says . Very comprehensive and helpful. I liked it before the illustrations were very easy to understand. I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in how the body works, from Medical Students through to alternative therapists. This was recommended to me by a tutor on a Medical Terminology course and it did not disappoint. I did a Anatomy course with the Uk Reiki Federation as I practice Reiki and they recommended I find a book like this so I was pleased to find one
