My biggest piece of advice is to take your time during the installation. Spend a few dollars on a basic multimeter and read your vehicle's fuse box section in the owner's manual before you start. Both will make the process much easier and help you identify the correct constant and switched fuse locations instead of guessing. The kit includes multiple fuse tap styles, so I had everything I needed right in the box. Once I identified the correct fuses, the installation was straightforward and the dash cam has worked flawlessly ever since. If you've never hardwired a dash cam before, don't let it intimidate you. With a little patience and the right preparation, it's a very manageable project that gives you a clean, factory looking installation and the added benefit of parking mode. Highly recommended.

However, I needed to splice in my own longer wires because the included ones weren’t quite long enough for my vehicle. Despite that minor tweak, the kit works perfectly and is a great solution for hardwiring a dash cam. Would recommend it, but keep in mind you might need to extend the wires for larger vehicles. Its better to have too much wire, and have to cut some off or hide it away, then not enough.
