I bought these so I could just open them, put it on a plate n be done with it. That didn't happen. My cats won't touch it unless I smoosh it around on the plate. Finicky as usual lol The quality is good. There's enough gravy. Also 1 whole cup is too much for 1 cat. I split 1 between two cats which works out great because they are pricey. But all cats are different.

My cat is a very picky eater. She has gone from brand to brand of cat food. I had settled on the fact that she really prefers Fancy Feast Pate, but she was even beginning to ignore that. I finally found this type and she loves it. It has been a "win win." Maybe it's a little more expensive, but at least it is being eaten rather than going down the garbage disposal.

Cats enthusiastically approve. Presentation looks very posh, food looks appetizing and doesn't have any off-putting odors. Apparently flavor and texture is to their liking as it is quickly, completely, and eagerly consumed without hesitation. Previously had a cat that ate mostly dry food until he ended up with CKD at about age 16. Would not touch the Rx kidney food, and I learned that it was more critical that they ATE something they liked even if it was junk over nothing at all and that cats won't eat for the sake of survival only; They will starve before they will eat what they don't enjoy. Fancy feast classic pate to the rescue, as it was pretty decent nutrition without too much added garbage. Phosphorus binders and classic pate formula got us another 3 to 3.5 years since he would actually eat that, so it's one of the goto brands with my cats now. I try to stick with wet foods that gets most of the caloric value from meat protein and fat rather than carbs. Portions are smaller than the 3oz can, but bigger than Sheba "perfect portions" splits and easier to open. I didn't have any problems with the foil or squeezing it out of the container onto a plate so it wasn't messy. But there's a wildly unnecessary amount of packaging to discard. The carton is thick, and the servings are packed in pairs in more cardboard that seems like it's primarily there to create airspace or maybe so the plastic doesn't need to do as much heavy lifting. It took up a lot of space in he recycling bin once I stacked the individual servings in my cabinet, so I don't know if its all that great for the environment. But the cat eats it and doesn't complain, so it gets two poly-dactyl thumbs up.

This is like cat crack. I'm hoping its as nutritious as it is tasty, as my cat digs it. These containers are fun to open, sliding out easily, but peeling the foil top may require some fine dexterity.
