Reception with the red and white direct output audio jacks is perfectly clear, I plugged them directly into the auxillary jacks in the back of the stereo. I unwind the antenna (which is pretty long) and set it atop a car in the driveway. Make sure if you are buying this for inside your home your stereo is near a window, cause the antenna has to have direct sky overhead for it to work, so you will have to run your antenna out of the window. Other than that, plug and play and enjoy. Raise your FIST!!!!
