Thermos Stainless Steel 2.7-Quart Pump Pot

I have had this Thermos about two months now. It holds about a 12 cup pot of coffee plus another 16 oz. though it doesn't keep the coffee quite as long as I would like it does the trick for me as I am disabled and it saves me alot of trips to the kitchen for coffee.

I haven't used this thermos yet but feel sure I will be pleased with its performance since I own a similar one by Thermos. However, this thermos came with a large paper band glued around it that has been very annoying in its removal. I am still working on it. Why not just a cardboard band that could be slipped off? Very annoying.

stainless steel all the way through, so no glass to break and cause insulation issues. This is a VERY large size and was perfect for our family Christmas gathering! It will be used fairly often when we have parties and gatherings.

This pot keeps the water hot as promised. The reason for four stars rather than five is because Thermos attached a wide paper and plastic label around the bottom half of the pot stating the pot's features. That label took me three hours to remove with boiling water, soap, scrubbing and a half-bottle of Goo Gone. The label of course although unsightly does not affect the functioning of the pot, just the functioning of the owner.

well.. it's can just lasting for 24 hours, I put boiled water inside and after 24hours, it's only about 40 degree.I thought it can last for longer..

As I own several fabulous Thermos SIPP cups that keep my coffee screaming hot for hours on cold boat mornings, I ordered this pump pot based on that. However, I was sorely disappointed. First morning the coffee was lukewarm in a couple hours on the boat. Second morning, it didn't to to the boat but was used at home - same result. After three hours on the counter, the coffee is just warm, not hot. Back it goes and the search is on for a better product!

I like the large size and the fact that it holds the temperature overnight.The unit appears to be very rugged.

like it very much. It has a different finish than in the picture, but I like it.
