Great small hatchet.
Bought this for backyard axe throwing. That type of use is very hard on hatchets and this has taken a beating. Shows zero damage or signs of damage. Handle is sturdy and fixed very strong to the head. It was sharp and ready for use. I have used it to also split kindling and it was the perfect tool for the job. For the money this is a great product.

Well worth it.
Purchased this saw in 2022 and have used it a hand full of times in the yard but numerous times camping (atleast 150 times camping). It has helped in fire wood, shelter making, furniture making and traps. We are now in the year 2025 and am just now starting to see the tips of the teeth wearing down. 3 years and many branches and small trees later I can say it has done me justice. I don’t normally write reviews but I need another one so here I am. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

Quick Home Sharpening Makes It Great.
It comes a bit dull- but 10 minutes with a metal file, just working approx 1/16" of the edge, brought it up to paper-cutting sharp. Some quick log-splitting and branch removal showed it to be a solid, real-deal tool, especially for the price. The weight is around the limit for a go-bag, and this hatchet feels like it will do the job and last a long while.

HANDY TOOL - GREAT VALUE
I am very impressed with this hatchet. It’s in expensive and yet very rugged and I expect it will last my lifetime. The fiberglass handle appears indestructible. The steel seems to be a good grade and can be sharpened to whatever degree I need. I highly recommend it for someone looking for a good two delivered at half the cost of similar tools from Home Depot or Lowe’s

For the money, seems very well made
This seems like a very well-made product for the price. You will probably want to upgrade with a sheath. The one that came with the hatchet is tiny and a little flimsy. Very happy with the product.

Good axe! Dull as all hell.
This axe is pretty great. It is not sharp at all, so you better have a sharpener. After I sharpened it, its awesome. Only reason I am not bumping a star off is because the price was fantastical. You can't beat $13. You really can't... This axe is worth it. The people nagging about it not being sharp and completely bashing it...its $13! You poor son of a gun must expect a godly weapon of mass destruction for $13... xD I like it, got here in a day, sharpened it, its durable, feels good in the hand...boom.

Cheap
Soft steel and way too thick behind the edge. Will not chop but splits well. Good enough beater for the price but i would consider something better if I was you.

Good grain, good quality and fast delivery.
This hatchet handle was for a little larger hatch than mine. My original handle was 12” and this one is 14”. I actually like it better now! The handle was about 5/8” thick and about 1-5/8” wide. I had to sand it down to fit my hatch head but using a flap wheel sanding disk on a 4-1/2” grinder, it didn’t take but about 15 minutes to shape it to fit. The handle comes with a wooden wedge but no steel one. I used a flat punch to open the slit before driving in the wedge. It worked great. I had a steel wedge to add diagonally to hold and tighten it up even more. I finished the handle with stain and spar urathane (not shown in pics) and it looks great and works great too.
