It's the same one VEO sells on their website but for 50 bucks less. For anyone wondering... It will work just fine with a VEO 2. The quick release plate is the same as the VEO 3. It's also just a standard threaded stud at the top so a myriad of other camera/lighting equipment can be fitted. It's way lighter than our older VEO 12ft Steel Tripod despite being 5 ft taller. That makes carrying it around easier and quicker. If you've lived the tournament life, then you understand. The elevation is good for full size pitches. We play on full 120 yard fields regularly and the vantage point you get for the video is better at 17ft up. One of the other teams in our club has the taller 24 ft version of this tripod, but almost never extends the last 6 foot section anyway. And being taller when collapsed means he has to carry it on his roof rack. This one is a nice balance of not too big but tall enough. It's manfrotto... So the quality is great. If you're having trouble getting far enough back... You can pick up a manfrotto monopod style angle tilt mount, or a ball mount to aim down slightly. Great product. Good quality.
