What else can I expect from a TV? There are definitely other TVs that offer more specifications on paper, but specifications don’t always translate into real-world quality. For me, Sony’s picture quality is what really stands out. My PS5 works perfectly with the TV, and the connectivity has been excellent overall. I also bought the BRAVIA CAM separately, which adds features like gesture control, but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend spending extra on the camera. If you have a budget of under ₹20,000, I’d rather suggest getting a good soundbar. If your budget allows, definitely consider going for a 5.1.2-channel setup or higher—you’ll notice a much bigger difference in your overall experience. The colors are excellent and look very natural, the connectivity options are top-notch, and the user interface is smooth and easy to use. Sony also provides free installation, which is a nice bonus. The one thing I think Sony should improve is the remote. They should add a backlit remote, especially for using it at night, or introduce a “Find My Remote” feature like the one available with the BRAVIA 9. Absolutely loving the Sony Bravia 5 TV! The picture quality is amazing with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and excellent sound clarity. The user interface is smooth and the overall viewing experience feels premium. The installation experience was also excellent — the technician was professional, quick, and explained all the features clearly. Everything was set up perfectly without any hassle. Highly satisfied with both the TV and the service. Definitely recommended!

Bought this for 1.41L, was slightly cheaper on Amazon Sale day. Overall happy with the performance of the tv. Pros: Integration with other Sony products is seemless. I have sony headphones and sony home theater system. connects with them seemlessly. when connected on headphone have an option to get sound on tv and headphone both. Get surround sound exp on headphones. its fun while watching horror 🎬. 2. Get 2 years sony core access which has all the movies produced by sony. some of them are included for free plus we also get 10 credits with which we can watch 10 movies which are not included for free. Latest spiderman movie is also available now and can use credit to watch it for free!! 3. Picture and sound quality is great. The skin tones are excellent in calibrated modes on netflix, prime and sony core. 4. Installation was smooth and on the day of the delivery itself. Installation guy offered movable wall mount for 3k. other standard wall mount of tv stand is free. I went for movable one. 5. Get regular updates for the tv. almost 1 every month. 6. TV vol is sufficient, generally standalone tv speakers are not that great but its great on this one. Cons: 1. Not great for sports. i tried different settings but still see some lag when the ball is in motion. Its not bad, my earlier tv with fire stick hd also had the same problem. I expected that it will be fixed in this tv given sony has better processing. 2. TV takes time to boot and if you immediately try to open a app after booting it takes time but after like 1 min of turning on, you'll not feel any slowness. 3. I got only 1 year warranty but sony has increased the warranty to 2 years now during amazon sale. There is another Bravia 5 with model number XR50A. There is no difference between the 2 models (XR50 and XR50A). XR50A is sold in retail channels (croma, reliance digital etc) hence has a different pricing. So if buying online can go with XR50.
