From our family to yours, enjoy! -Michael Pan & The Pan Family Review: Meat eaters will love these, too - I can't believe how much I like these. I'm a meat eater, but I'll grab these first. I do wish the flavors were a little more intense, but I get over that pretty quickly. Review: Tastes like Mushroom -- can't miss or mistake the mushroom taste or texture. - I watched the Shark Tank episode (replay) and they gushed about the taste and smell. Um, not sure if this is the problem, but the packaging says it's a new recipe. And if the Shark-Tankers tasted this version, they would not have been interested in the company at all. Not sure if the recipe changed to provide longer shelf life -- or ?? But, it's not good. I bought the sample pack -- 4 different flavors. All taste strongly of shiitake mushroom. And, I do love shiitake mushrooms, but it was not a pleasant taste for jerky. I had a couple neighbors also taste-test -- it was a consensus...we will all pass if ever offered again. Even if it was offered for free, none of us would want it again. I had such high hopes -- as I love all kinds of Jerky. In the end, I gave them to my dogs as snacks. ## Features - UMAMI & SATISFYING: Made from shiitake mushrooms, Pan's Mushroom Jerky delivers a delicious umami taste and satisfying meaty texture that herbivores crave and carnivores love - Plant-Based | Vegan | Paleo-Friendly | Soy-Free | Gluten-Free | Kosher - DELICIOUS & NUTRITIOUS: Pan's Mushroom Jerky is high in Vitamin D and fiber, and is a sustainable snack option great for on-the-go, backpacking, or on top of salads or pizza - FIND YOUR FAVORITE: This Variety Pack contains four flavors: Original, Salt & Pepper, Applewood BBQ, and Zesty Thai - TRIED & TRUE: Shiitake mushrooms are among the meatiest mushrooms, which is why the Pan family has been using them in their family recipe for decades. Please know, you may find all of our ingredients on our individual product pages, for your reference. All of our flavors contain coconut sugar. The FDA classifies coconuts as a tree nut. Also, our facility is not certified allergen-free or gluten-free, which means outside food can enter the facility through new product testing, employee meals, a potential co-packer, etc. And so, there is a risk of cross-contamination. We hope to have these certifications in the near future as we grow. If you need any further clarification on this or if we can answer any other questions regarding this matter, please let us know. **Q: Are the mushrooms prepared same as other types of jerky or are they just dehydrated mushrooms coated with flavouring?** A: Not sure, but they have not been popular with our family and friends. **Q: Is there any protein in this product?** A: Yes ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Meat eaters will love these, too *by M***N on 17 October 2025* I can't believe how much I like these. I am a fan of mushrooms and I am also a fan of jerky. This has all the pleasure of chewing on a nice piece of jerky without the grease. I love it and actually purchased more to take on my vacation for a quick pick me up. Do not buy if you do not like chewy jerky. This is excellent and I genuinely love it. Unlike meat jerky, that can cause me an upset stomach at bedtime, Pans mushroom jerky does not do that and offers a fun snack while watching tv at night without the fear of winding up sick. ## Frequently Bought Together - Pan's Mushroom Jerky, Organic, Vegan Snacks, Mushrooms Shitake, Meatless Jerky, Gluten Free, High in Fiber, Variety pack of Original, Zesty Thai, Salt & Pepper, BBQ (2.2 Ounce, Pack of 4) - Giorgio Savory Wild Vegan Portabella Mushroom Jerky | Gluten Free & Non-GMO | Roasted Garlic & Black Pepper, 2 ounce - Moku Plant-Based Mushroom Jerky, Variety (4 Pack), Gluten Free, Soy-Free, Non-Gmo Vegan Snacks, No Artificial Sweetener Vegan Food, Healthy Snacks, 2.0 Oz Ea --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/741372327-pans-mushroom-jerky-organic-vegan-snacks-mushrooms-shitake-meatless-jerky](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/741372327-pans-mushroom-jerky-organic-vegan-snacks-mushrooms-shitake-meatless-jerky) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
