Described as a medium roast, it's closer to a light roast IMO. It's the perfect roast for Greek style coffee. Ample foam during brewing and a nice, rich chocolaty taste. If you've ever had Bravo powdered coffee, it has the same flavor profile. Stored in an airtight container with some food quality desiccant to keep moisture to a minimum and you can fresh grind that terrific flavor each time without it going stale. Packaging is typical for high quality whole beans.

i'll tell you what - maybe this is a testament to just me not trying a wide array of beans. But these beans, to me, are literally the best beans i have ever had. i wanted to try single source beans from all the different regions, and inadvertedly got these first and i think they are just 'my taste' i would describe them as kind of fruity almost sweet (sweet isn't the right word though) but comparatively to other beans that have a more bittery taste, these go in the opposite direction. Amazing! So if that sounds like something you'd like, or you aren't sure if you'd like that - give it a try! it's pricey for a bag of beans but you gotta treat yourself once in awhile. You've got to, or else, what's the point of it all? If not these beans, take a bubble bath or something. i dunno but you GOTTS TRY THESE BEANS !! unrelated, but you also could try putting some irish butter in your coffee
