Works without lid closed!
Works perfectly on my sony ZV1. The description says that you need to lock the battery lid or else it wont work but its impossible due to the cord so before buying it, I was worried that it wont work, however it works just fine with the dummy battery in without closing the lid. I recorded 6 hours straight without the camera shutting off like it did constantly with batteries due to the heat.

Perfect for Long Recording Sessions
bought this dummy battery power adapter for my Sony ZV-1, and it has worked exactly as I hoped. The setup was quick and easy, and it provides a stable, continuous power supply, which is perfect for long video recordings, streaming, or extended photo sessions. It fits securely, and I haven’t experienced any interruptions or overheating during use. The build quality feels solid, and it performs just as described. If you’re looking for a reliable way to keep your Sony camera powered without worrying about battery life, this is a great option.
