Bought this to power my power hungry 5090 and worked perfectly, and its silent too. Has really good quality cables and the cable combs can make your cable management (or lack of) much better 😂 another great msi product

I’m using the MSI MPG A1250GS PCIe 5.0 in a newly built rig consisting of an i9 14900K CPU and RTX 5090 GPU. This PSU has the perfect number of connectors and comes with 2 12V connectors dedicated to new-gen GPUs, where some higher watt units only come with one. The unit is nice a quiet, and even though the fan spins up when under heavy load, it is barely audible, my system fans are much louder :)The quality of the unit is excellent; it feels solid with a good weight. The power connectors consist of individual cables grouped with slidable cable combs, meaning your cable management is easy, as these can lie flat and also bunch up at corners.MSI have built a lovely little power box here, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to build a new rig or upgrade their current one.

Nice psu with plenty of vroom to power the new generation of video cards and more. The inclusion of a proper PCIe 5.1 cable (12V-2x6) is great. This is my first MSI psu and I am looking forward to getting many years of use out of it.

Phenomenal PSU, the native 12v power connector was the perfect size and length for the 5080 I paired the system with. It's silent, even with the zero fan mode off. Another outstanding MSI product that will support any modern PC setup with full functionality. The price for performance is also just about unbeatable. You'll be hard pressed to find anything better for the money.

This review is specifically for the MPG A1250GS, The tldr is that I recommend it as it's a competitively priced high quality compact power supply that's A tier on the psu tier list and gives clean stable power from a trustworthy company backed with a 10 year warranty. The slightly longer version is that I searched pretty high and low for a competent power supply that has all the bells and whistle on top of being relatively compact and ultimately settled on this one and I'm happy I did because it was super easy to install as the cables are all individually sleeved and had cable combs pre-installed. The main selling point for me was the compact 150mm long size and confirmed ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards along with being A tier on the psu tier list but I've also never been done wrong by MSI personally so that helped with my decision a bit. It's powering my system which has a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 4090, 64gb DDR5 6000MHz, 5 SSD's, 3 HDD's, and a TON of fans without any issues along with some very stable voltage readings when monitoring my pc with HWiNFO. PS, Please ignore my rats nest of cables in the last picture as I have a lot of drives being powered but still wanted to show it installed : )
