After three washings and tumble-dries it's shrunk a little. Mine now sits about waist length. Girth is only slightly less loose; arm length did not shrink at all (that I've noticed). I am a slim 5'8" tall man. I bought the black & white checked pattern because I couldn't decide on color and it was lowest price among the choices. I highly recommend!
