They’re 100% organic, non-GMO, and packed with protein. The quality is excellent, and they cook up nicely for salads, soups, or baking. I love having a healthy, whole-grain option like this in my pantry. Highly recommend for anyone looking for nutritious and versatile wheat berries. Review: I wrote a review for Jovial Foods Organic Einkorn wheat berries. It is wonderful wheat. I said that in my first review but I complained about the price being so high. I've done more research now and if you buy 10 lbs. of Jovial Einkorn which I just did this morning, you will pay $25.99 with free shipping. That could be just the price today. But that works out to $2.60 per lb. This wheat is excellent. I doubt you can beat the current price. It's worth buying 10 lbs. at a time. It is delicious. I have been grinding wheat and making bread since the early 1980's. This einkorn wheat preforms differently. It is a much wetter dough. It doesn't require kneading, though it does require rising time. There is a learning curve to getting it just right. I've only made 2 loaves so far. The bread was amazing but the top of each loaf rose and dropped and was very crusty on top. I'll have to research why that's happening but the bread is very delicious. I will definitely continue buying from Jovial. It is a great seller and an excellent product. I have their Einkorn Cookbook. I just got it. It has some good recipes in it. I used the recipe on the l lb. box for each of the loaves I made. I need to try some of the recipes in the book ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B007SM6NWW | | ASIN | B007SM6NWW | | Brand Name | Jovial | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (276) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00815421014013 | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Package Weight | 0.48 Kilograms | | Item Weight | 454 g | | Item model number | 123878 | | Model Number | 123878 | | Number of Pieces | 12 | | Package Dimensions | 15.4 x 9.5 x 4.9 cm; 453.59 g | | Part Number | 31224 | | UPC | 815421014013 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Jovial - **Item Package Quantity:** 1 - **Item Weight:** 454 g - **Package Weight:** 0.48 Kilograms - **UPC:** 815421014013 ## Images ![Jovial Wheat Berries - Organic - Einkorn - 16 oz - case of 12 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91O1dKGm5aL.jpg) ![Jovial Wheat Berries - Organic - Einkorn - 16 oz - case of 12 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/914NMqpIq-L.jpg) ![Jovial Wheat Berries - Organic - Einkorn - 16 oz - case of 12 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91cO5P1sLhL.jpg) ![Jovial Wheat Berries - Organic - Einkorn - 16 oz - case of 12 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81jZ5tIh77L.jpg) ![Jovial Wheat Berries - Organic - Einkorn - 16 oz - case of 12 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81NfC8ssskL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is einkorn gluten free?** A: Einkorn is a type of wheat containing gluten. Its unhybridized nature makes its gluten weaker, easier to digest than modern wheat. Not safe for celiac disease, but often tolerated by gluten-sensitive individuals. **Q: Why does einkorn flour cost more than regular flour?** A: Einkorn has never been hybridized for modern farming and the yield on einkorn is is considerably less than that of modern wheat. The yield is also smaller is because we grow it organically and it is also certified free from glyphosate residue **Q: What is the difference between Jovial All-Purpose Einkorn Flour and Whole Wheat Einkorn Flour?** A: Our whole wheat/whole grain flour is our organic einkorn wheat berries ground into flour. Our all-purpose flour is the whole grain flour with a portion of the bran and germ removed. Our traditional pastas and cookies are made from the AP flour. **Q: Can I substitute einkorn flour 1:1 with regular flour?** A: Einkorn may be substituted cup for cup with regular whole wheat flour in some muffin, pancakes, cake, and cookie recipes. However, sometimes the amount of liquid in the recipe needs to be reduced by roughly 15-20%. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by L***F on December 29, 2025* These Jovial Einkorn wheat berries are fantastic!
