This keychain is a must-have for any healthcare worker who works with kids. As a pediatrician, I am probably on my 4th repurchase because kids are so obsessed with these, they steal them from me all the time! But jokes aside, this is the perfect resource to keep on hand to distract little ones while doing an exam or talking with parents. The kids always get a kick out of the light and love to copy the turtle opening its mouth, which makes it that much easier to get your exam done. I've had parents ask me where I've gotten it before because they are so surprised by how much their kids like it, and have even recommended it to medical students and nurses who saw just how effective a tool it can be when working with children. I can't recommend it enough!

My granddaughter especially likes this flashlight because she loves frogs. This features an ON switch that must be held down in order for the light to shine. A great feature because the kids can't accidentally leave it on, making the battery die. It is a bright little light. She likes to take it on hikes with her parents. Or just go in the closet to see her little frog light up. The tail is a carabiner clip that can be attached to a belt or belt loop or a bookbag.

I like the design and the shape of this product, would be great for kids! Unfortunately the light on mine doesn’t work- occasionally the light will turn on but shuts off right away but other times the light doesn’t come on at all. Will have to return this product sadly. *****UPDATE***** I have updated my review and stars. Since the original product/light I purchased did not work the company reached out to me to make things right by sending me a brand new light!! The new light works great and my kids absolutely love it!! I have added a new video to my review to show how the product/light works and updated the rating stars to 5! I’m giving 5 stars due to product/light working and since this small, family-owned business has great customer service!! I love when companies take the time to reach out to their customer’s and make things right!

I bought one of these for all the grandkids for a family reunion. They loved them! All under 12. These kept them busy for about 1/2 hour and then they clipped them onto their backpacks so they wouldn’t lose them 😄

My 4 year old loves these and we’ve bought multiple. They’re a good value for the money and are actually pretty bright. Cute little design and functions great. Super easy for little hands to use. The mouth on the lizard does break after some time but overall isn’t a deal breaker to not buy again!

I got this little guy because I own three real turtles, but none of them can help me find the door handle on a dark night. Besides being exceptionally cute, the LED light in the mouth of this turtle is very bright. Great for finding door locks at night or finding keys in the bottom of a handbag. Very well constructed from durable material. The turtle is rugged plastic, not brittle or flimsy at all. The clip on his tail is metal. And a neat design is that the tail is hinged, so the torque of swinging keys doesn't easily break the tail off in a short time. Even my real turtles turn their heads to look at it when I put it next to their enclosure. Great little item. I intend to buy more for a few birthdays coming up. Well worth it.

I'm a family doctor, so I work with patients of all ages and I carry this guy on my stethoscope everywhere I go! Kids LOVE the turtle., it's often the first thing they notice about me. I take the turtle off and let them play with it while I chat with the parents, and then the turtle helps me do the exam (it find it cuts back on crying with a lot of kids). At the end of the visit I say the turtle has to help me with other kids and I always get it back. The turtle then gets a good bath in hand sanitizer and goes back on the stethoscope. Adults love the turtle too, it makes them smile and bring them back to the days when they were kids. It makes me smile too, especially on long days, and it sure beats carrying around a pen light! I highly recommend this turtle light for anyone, but especially doctors :)

My husband wanted to replace a similar light his doctor lost. She has used it especially for children she treated. I found this cute option and ordered it. It came promptly and has proven to be a sturdy and bright light. His doctor loved it upon receipt.

My kiddo loves this for his walk to the bus stop in the mornings!

One of our toddler grandkids was expressing fear of dark, so I got them these little lights. Can't keep them out of their hands - they love them! Now I'm told to turn off overhead lights so they can play with their torches. Just hope they resist the abuse.

I have to say that at the beginning I was a little bit disappointed. I had to pay extra I for the customs. It was smaller that I thought. But my son loved it. It was super easy for him to used it. And the best part... after so many years it's still working.
