Do these seeds come from China or even got near China?

Don't worry, the seeds we sell are grown in the USA.

Are they open pollinated meaning you can save the seeds to start new plants from the peppers they grow?

Yes, these are open pollinated. To save seeds from a California Wonder sweet pepper, select a fully ripe, healthy pepper from a disease-free plant with desirable traits. Cut the pepper open and remove the seeds, cleaning off any remaining flesh or membrane to prevent mold. Spread the seeds out in a single layer in a well-ventilated, cool, and dark place, allowing them to dry completely for one to two weeks, stirring occasionally to ensure even drying. Keep in mind if there are any other pepper varieties around there could be some cross pollination, but otherwise you should be all set! Hope that helps! RDR Seeds

Are these peppers sweet?

Yes, these are sweet bell peppers.

Are the red and green seeds in seperate packets?

These peppers start off green and will turn red and grow sweeter if left to mature on the vine. They can be harvested green or red, whichever you prefer.

This was a waste of money. I planted them inside in my South facing bay window, and after careful watering and sunshine in Miracle Grow potting mix in peat pots I waited several weeks with none of the pepper seeds sprouting. Dissatisfied with this purchase. I will need to spend more $ to get a six pack of bell peppers.
