We bought this as it looked good, liked the ergonomic handle design and glass body. The bad points immediately noticeable were it poured terribly and the handle would get hot. This week, at eighteen months since purchase the kettle will not stop boiling. Which is dangerous. Now we have to watch over it and manually switch it off. No warranty came with it either, I noticed. Stick to the big brands is my advice! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FABULOUS! *by S***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 March 2019* What great kettleI have over the years had many kettles and usually very expensive.I wanted a glass kettle and found this little gem. What a surprise! Its super big , boils really fast and does not make a lot of noise. Lights up to show the kettle is on the boil. The boil is very good , super, super, boiling hot water. The filter is neatly fitted into the lid. It has a very full pour with no dripping. The body of the kettle is more like a large water jug. Very easy to clean. Its very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this glass kettle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful, quiet kettle *by L***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 February 2019* We love this kettle. It has a lovely spout and pour, looks great with very clean lines, shape and colours and is very quiet when boiling. The lid has to be manually removed to fill it rather than a fliptop with a button but absolutely worth the money. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/74075940-echome-2200w-cordless-stainless-steel-white-electric-fast-boil-glass](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/74075940-echome-2200w-cordless-stainless-steel-white-electric-fast-boil-glass) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
