For the features, quality and price price, this board is unmatched.
Excellent product and service. We have a small theater in our dance studio. We have Elation/American DJ dimmer packs, currently using 15 DMX channels and about to expand to 24. The board is easy to program and well built. I'd love a programmed fade, otherwise it does everything we want.I watched a few Youtube videos after reading the manual. I still had a couple of questions and called American DJ. Got right through to an American, English speaking tech with an excellent attitude. He did not know the answer to one of my questions, put me on hold and returned with the answer,For the features, quality and price price, this board is unmatched.Addendum: We own the board for nearly two years and it runs as expected every time we use it. The two times I had questions, American DJ's customer service was impeccable. We're adding more lights and looking at upgrading to the Scene Setter 48.

OK product, it seems a little better than other comparable units
All of the DMX controllers I looked at had pretty bad documentation and seem confusing to set up, including this one. However I found a super useful 2 part tutorial video online here: http://youtu.be/wu34OR7BtOA which gave me some guidance on how to set it up properly and ultimately convinced me to buy this one over other products was looking at. The unit itself is solid and seems pretty durable. Another plus is that apparently the layout/interface is fairly universal for all these controllers, so if you know this one, you know them all (kind of) with the exception being the BEHRINGER unit which I was considering until I read that it has a different interface than the industry standard. All and all it is an ok product , it seems a little better than other comparable products. I got it set up and working with a bunch of dimmer packs within 30 minutes thanks to the aforementioned tutorial video.

It works fine, until I can afford a "real" console
It works fine, until I can afford a "real" console :-) A little worried about the dark face in the dark of showtime, but I'll maybe update after my first show with this unit next weekend.

Ready, Set, Go
Needed a upgrade to manage more DMX lights on any particular gig. With the pandemic almost in the rear view mirror and with the parties coming back with a vengeance to make up for lost time the requests for bigger and better and badder light show displays are at a all time high so I needed to upgrade to a bigger light controller to accommodate the request for bigger and more outlandish displays and that’s a good thing for me. I’m booked solid till February of next year with calls still piling up. May need even a bigger one by then, who knows. It’s nicely made and the controls are easy to read and use. The instructions were informative and easy to read and understand and the pictures helped me immediately with setup and operation. Knowing a bit about them helped immensely. The instructions could use a upgrade for the novice just getting started in the lighting field though. Setting scenes is easily accomplished and multiple lights doing multiple different things at different times looks awesome. The scene setter does triple what my old one did and was a bit more than I really wanted to spend but once up and running I’m getting every dollars worth back twentyfold. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

Missing power supply for board.
Did not come with proper power supply. Had to go to Radio Shack and get one. Item was a boat weight with out power to it. They through a power cord in the box think it was what was needed. It reacquired a 12 v dc voltage power adapter. Cost me 24 dollars.
