Spice Up Your Life
I like me some spice. Actually, this does not bring a lot of heat, but the flavor profile is excellent. Instead of putting plain salt on everything from eggs to different meats I had Joe's Hot Stuff. I really like the taste and it's many of the things I eat more interesting.

Top-notch spice mix!
First-rate hot spice mix! Gives a little extra kick to my smoked/grilled meats and a little extra heat in my Creole-style gumbo and jambalaya! I highly recommend this and the original!

Spouse loved it, I did not
The flavor is ok, but I had to add more salt as it was lacking. There is also quite a bit of garlic or onion powder in this mix and the smell is exorbitant. I was not the biggest fan due to these two reasons, but my spouse really enjoyed it so I guess it was a win since it will not go to waste. My personal opinion is that I can find a different spice mix with more salt and not so much garlic/onion taste, whereas my spouse really enjoyed it and didn’t mind paying this price. If I would have liked the flavor more, I would have no issue with the price, but since I didn’t love it, I say it was overpriced.

Wonderful seasoning
Our friends went to New Orleans, took a cooking class and brought the recipe home to us. Joe's seasoning is what the recipe called for. We enjoyed our friends cooking but decided we wanted the dish with a little more spice. We found this on Amazon and it was perfect. So happy with the purchase.

On the left is what I got in New Orleans. On the right is what I received from this amazon purchase. Doesn’t even look like the same blend of ingredients. Not happy about this purchase I ordered as a gift.

Awesome seasoning!
Awesome seasoning, and I'm glad it comes in a smaller bottle than before, as I'll be sure to use it up before it goes stale. This stuff is fantastic for so much--chili, garlic bread, tacos, tomato-based casseroles. We love it!
