Top quality. Good value for animal feed.
I bought these peanuts to make peanut butter with because they are certified organic. The only thing I failed to understand is that these peanuts are processed as wild animal feed, and not intended for human consumption. I really didn't understand there was a difference until I opened the bag. I had to clean out other, non-edible things like small pieces of stem or root, a few bad peanuts, and a whole lot of dust from the 'red paper' that had come off the peanuts and got broken down in transportation. The dust was no real challenge but cleaning and separating all the other stuff out was time-consuming. Even with all of this, these peanuts make great peanut butter! Just roast or toast them; grind them; slather some of that homemade, organic peanut butter on whatever bread you like; and eat it all up! I've made it with and without salt. Conclusion: If you are ok with taking the time and putting forth the effort to do the cleaning, these peanuts are worth it. The critters around my place love the stuff I threw out! If you're wanting to make peanut butter, it will be a lot easier to just find some organic peanuts that are processed for human consumption due to the time and effort it takes to clean these, as it really makes up for the cost of the peanuts you receive. If you're looking for critter food, you've found it here! I highly recommend this seller and this product, especially if you're looking for wild animal feed.

Good Peanuts…Poor Packaging
Nice quality peanuts. Great for the back yard wildlife. CONS: Very Expensive! Peanuts looked to be throw in the bottom of the box with other items on top. The peanut bag was cut open on the side and the top zip lock popped open so half the peanuts were in the box Not the bag. Some peanuts fell out through the bottom of the box. Maybe some of these Amazon packing employees need to be trained how to load a customers box or be terminated. For these reasons I will probably not purchase this item from Amazon again!

High quality peanuts but package weight is inconsistent.
We have been feeding these peanuts to birds as part of a suet mix for several years. We do the supplier being small independent farmers. The quality is excellent but the package weight is inconsistent. The most recent one was 7.5 pounds. When we get a shipment, I chop the nuts in a small food processor and put them into 1.5 pound zip lock bags. I then combine the peanuts with suet pellets and our suet mix. This gives me a mix of large and small peanut pieces. I do this mix as small birds cannot eat full size nuts. We use a squirrel proof feeder for our suet mix.
